    I faced the same problem. Even mailed Yamaha about it. I then took it to the showroom and they told me it was due to disconnected wires. They then reconnected the wires and the check engine light went away. The check engine light came on for me too after driving for about 40 Kms and touching 80 kmph.

    I figure it could be that below 80 kmph the bike treats it as a test drive or something and doesn't switch on the check engine light.

    Anyhow, I'm on my 300+ Kms now and until now I haven't faced any issues.

      Hi friends! I have been following this thread since day one and have seen a lot of complains on engine noise so called ''coin rattle noise'' in fz25. But of late I have not seen owners complaining about that anymore. Is it resolved for most of you or new batch of bikes don't have it? Please reply.

            Not everyone faced the rattle noise, and somebody is ignoring this and some don't have notice that issue.


            I always ride my bike wearing helmet but today i heard some noise and I think it's normal engine and chain sound and that sound irritate me a lot but in helmet I couldn't hear that noise..I don't what is that is that coin rattle or it's just normal sound....

                    Guys my rear brake pads worn out in just 6.7k kms. Anybody facing similar issues

                    PS: no I don't ride with my right foot in the brakes.

                          At what Km/s driven can I put K&N air filter? And will mileage reduce/increase and service warranty, will it be voided?

                                hello guys i got my bike 1 week ago, i always drive my bike below 4 rmp and never crossing my speed above 3 to 4 rpm but still my bikes makes bad tappet valve sound also after driving a certain distance when i start driving from 1 st gear it is very loud tappet noise is it ok??? and from past 3 days m noticing drop in pickup and power.
