Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I know the difference because I have experienced a smooth vibe free Fz 25. The vibe adds to the feeling of being stressed whereas the engine is not actually stressed since it rapidly continues to climb even north of 110kmph. And yeah, even I feel its just a few of them that's affected, since vibrations were never reported as an issue for this bike.Originally posted by JyotishmanS View Post

Problem is the bike won't Rev freely as i have seen in many videos. Also after 7k rpm the vibes become too much so that I refuse to ride above 100 kmph. But before 1st service the vibration at 5k rpm was too much. That reduced a lot after 1st service. But tappet noise became more and evident while riding above 5k rpm. Hope they'll get rectify in 2nd service or else I'll write to YamahaOriginally posted by JyotishmanS View PostThe loose tappet is a ubiquitous thing in high torque engine, made for better heat dissipation. In India, owing to the naturally hot climate, the tappet is slightly more loose. Have you experienced any loss in power or weakness in any rev band? If no, you're fine. My bike is at 2900 kms and even though the tappet noise is present, i enjoy it's awesome ride more, everyday.

i would recommend to clean the effected area properly, make sure you dont leave any traces of oil
Ride for 5 min and leave bike for some time for oil to settle down
if leakage occur,it would due to a loose fitting or a gasket
else its an oil spill which happened during tightening of tappetsLast edited by Om1234; 12-24-2017, 07:43 PM.

clean it with dry cloth, then seeOriginally posted by 93nikhilverma View Postthanks bro... did the same...got this... now I don't know if this is the oil spill or the oil left still after the wash.... but i cleaned it with my finger only... please advise if u think it's a spill or not...?????

somtimes water cannot clear the oil
looking at the pic seems like the gasket is damaged
check once and go to svc
it would cost around 20-30 rs
as of now,if a considerable amount of oil has come out, replace the oil earlier than the specified interval

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
thanks got your point... i will svc tomorrow probably... and it's there fault actually if they ruined my gasket while fixing the tappet.. still I don't mind ₹20-30 but still....Originally posted by Om1234 View Postclean it with dry cloth, then see

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I was having a slight loss of power in between 50 to 60 kmph. Cleaned the chain thoroughly today. Was surprised to see the amount of sediment and particles coming out. Then applied Motul C1. Believe me, the feedback from the rear tyre and chain is just like the day i bought the bike.

in which gear 50-60 feels like powerloss?Originally posted by JyotishmanS View PostI was having a slight loss of power in between 50 to 60 kmph. Cleaned the chain thoroughly today. Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
i think yes... the oil wasn't leaking... I could see only minute oil over there... not proper leakage.... like even after riding 25 kilometres for 30-40 minutes... there wasn't any leakage...Originally posted by Om1234 View Posthas the problem solved??
You should have complained to manager, they would have replaced it
manager umm.. I thought this would be cheap to ask for replacement for this... [emoji14]
