An LED indicator that is fixed with an indicator that is of bulb type will hyper-flash or not flash at all. Using the right LED relay should make it a viable option.

I've used the KTM ones and they flash

Just an observation on the Brazilian Fazer 250 and our FZ25. The gearing seems to be altered on the Fazer?

Our bike touches 120 @ 8k RPM, while the Fazer touches 129 at the same RPM.

AFAIK the Fazer engine produces peak torque 500 RPM later and produces 1ps more power at the same RPM.

Power = torque x rpm x (some factor)
So yes, bike attaining max torque @ higher rpm will have more power

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
          The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

          THE END

Yamalube sporty premium is recommended by Yamaha. No need to try out expensive FS oils on this engine. Can use it, it's good enough.

For the FZ25 they produce a separate 800ml pack of sporty premium (golden bottle). It is claimed to be fully synthetic.

Mineral oil is recommended for the FZ16.

Yes yamalube is best for fz25 after trying out motul and shell oils. Only thing is you have to drain oil at 2.5k km for better engine life

Company recommends to change oil @ 5000 km. If company recommends such time, then why is necessary to drain out at 2500km? Is there any logical explanation here?

Have seen the oil go black sooner than other oils. It's from my experience. Also showroom guys told the same to me. If you want to change every 5k km, go ahead.

Company recommendations are usually based on ideal road conditions. Same criteria for FE. FE and oil change intervals depends on road conditions, traffic and air quality too among other things.

Is it just me or are there others whose fz25 feels rough be it the gear shifting or engine??

I have broken it in properly... Rarely go above 6 to 7k rpm, clean and lube my chain regularly and change engine oil on time.

I even tried shell oil without much difference.

Yamalube had a strange effect wherein after 1.5k to 2k kms it becomes smooth and then again becomes rough by 3k and I have to change.

It's run 11.5k kms so far and I either got a faulty bike and it's never gonna get smooth, or I need to try another Fz25 and see if my expectations were too high. The SVC says it's all good.

My friends RTR 200 feels more smooth.

Though I just love how effortlessly the Fz pulls with just a slight twist of the throttle which is the only thing that makes me smile.
