    Hi,
Please be very careful with people's phone numbers, keep them secure, although they themselves know better.
And, may I know the purposes behind the group?

It's purpose is to hide the issues in this bike by not letting other's to join the group.

Bro even i had a fall and had my handle bar got bent. Later after visiting the service centre found out the fork is misaligned so the service guy told me to get fixed as it could again result in another fall. I got mine fixed they charged me around 3k. i would highly suggest you to get it fixed.

bro can you tell me if you got your forks aligned at the svc? and why did they charge such a huge sum of 3k to just align forks? also why did they say that misaligned forks would result in another fall?

Hi Guys, Pls help me out on this reserve capacity of FZ25.

I could only tank up around 10. 5 litters of fuel after I get trip F on many occasions.

This time I have done 47 km on trip F and tried to fill up the tank full upto the brim and I was able to fill only 11.89 litters which means it still had 2.11 litters left in the tank!

If I calculate I think when the trip F comes we have around 3.5 litters.

Pls let me know your experience on this guys.

How many km maximum you have driven on Trip F?

Note: 2019 ABS model and I always fill fuel upto the brim..

^ Hi it's always safer to leave about 3 to 3.5 litres in the tank. As soon as it gets to last bar, better to fill it. The reason is the fuel acts as coolant for the fuel pump. The bike will run with lower fuel also but the life of the pump will come down. It's an expensive item if it fails.

Guys from Bangalore, where did you guys get the skid plate for FZ 25 installed. Yamaha Whitefield is not aware of such an accessory it seems.

The image attached is the bill they charged me which includes handle bar changed, fork adjustment, basic serving (as mine was due)etc. I might have quoted some charges inaccurately previously but the image will give you a better idea. I didn't care about the cost as i had specifically told them to fix the bike by next day.Click image for larger version

I got a new FZ25 yesterday and have few concerns... Any clarification from you guys is appreciated.

The cover on seat is stapled... Is that standard?
Rust on front fork both side
Front Right side indicator not working.

Seat cover stapled is fine. That's the standard. Rust on forks on a new bike? Get it replaced under warranty ASAP. The connection to the indicator could be loose, get it checked. If the bulb is burnt, replace it.

The ODO on my bike reads 19100 kms. Can anyone confirm if my chain has run it's life?.

As of now, I don't feel any lag/jerks/loss of power.

Was hoping for 20k kms with the regular cleaning and lubing, but this should be fine, I think, considering my spirited riding with the awesome torque on offer .

Though, I do feel the vibrations in my bike are higher as after every long ride I end up with tingles.

The SVC I kind of trust in Bengaluru recommended to change it. But didn't have the time as I am currently situated in Chennai.

If replacement is required, can someone recommend me a good trustworthy SVC in Chennai to do the replacement, or direct me to any Chennai based or Fz25 based whatsapp group.

                            Thanks in advance!.

                              Seat cover is fine..

But for the rust I'm concerned. SVC told that it's due to bike been outside in Showroom... I check other bikes, all had same rust.

                              Indicator bulb replaced.

based on the adjustment markings, it looks just fine. if you have cleaned and lubed you chain every 500-1000km it will definitely last more than 20k km.
this adjustment marking is not the only thing that you check... another thing that you want to check is the condition of the sprockets.. inspect both the front and rear sprockets and see if the tooth have become sharp/curved/snapped.. the front sprocket is usually prone to more wear. sometimes just replacing the front sprocket should give you plenty more life out of the existing chain (provided it has been cleaned/lubed and maintained well.. other better to change the entire set)
i have done close to 40k on my d200.. with only the front sprocket (cost 150rs+100 labor) changed at around 28k km, the front sprocket had it teeth sharp/curved a bit.. and chain had started making a bit of noise at slow speeds.

here is a diagram showing you what to look for: the one the left is a good sprocket, the one of the right is worn) this excess wear will cause irritating chain noise, or worse one of them teeth could break off due to too much wear.
