Got it. Thanks. I can't wait to see you pull this off. So many details to take care of.

      1. very hard to shift gears; service center guys are telling it will improve based on more usage
      2. the front seat to be loose and need to be tightened
      3. the front light assembly seem to be loose and the service center mentioned thats normal

Would like to hear from owners who have taken recent delivery of their bikes if they have also noticed such issues and did it get resolved

Hey Karthik, congrats on your new bike. I too got my FZ25 earlier in May. ( the same color as well )

      1. As the more experienced members here say, clock more miles. In addition, I have just lowered the gear lever a little and it does make a considerable difference now. By default, its set to a more vertical aligned angle. By lowering, it reduces the effort/time required and also makes us feel the gear shift to be a little better.

      2. I noticed this on my bike too. I believe the technician at the showroom who fixes the battery apparently forgot to tighten the screws. or was it sheer laziness?? I fixed this myself anyways.

      3. If you are referring to the vibrating/shaking headlight, its common on most of the FZ25's that I have come across. It's very irritating. Its some flaw on the headlamp mount design may be. To solve this, what I'm planning is to install AS200 visor and fix additional clamps from visor to the front fork top mounts. This should probably solve/reduce the shake to a large extent. I'm yet to try this though.

Kirankj1724 congrats to you too (I mean belated ;-) )
I had my clutch play adjusted yesterday and since then I have experienced better gearing.. the only new challenge I m facing is to keep this brute under 50kmph and 4k rpm. Just waiting to cross 500 km on odo to unleash it's true potential.

By the way the service centre is saying the little bit of movement I see in the front seat is normal and not to be worried about but I didn't see it in the display unit in showroom. Anyways if it is something trivial which I can fix I will sure like to do it. Just need to figure out how to remove the front seat. Can you let me know how you removed it?

I am also planning to fit a visor but have heard that as200 one may not be an affective one. I have found some alternatives on amazon and thinking on ordering the same.

          Relay helps.

But heard that KTM Indicators dont need relay.

Should I visit SVC for this? How long did the sound persisted for you?

          Thanks..
AFAIK, there is not beep sound mechanism on FZ25.
Do you have any after market accessories?

Hi, Thanks for the response, Issue is resolved now. It is actually the indicator buzzer which was making that mild continuous beeeeeep sound after the water wash. After parking the bike outrood in the SUN the sound is gone!!
I confirmed this with the dealer also, he said the same.

Can some member from Delhi suggest a good mechanic who can perform the fork alignment menthod in this video:-

(the method which involves loosening of the front assembly and then pressing the front end a dozen times to straighten everything)

I think my forks are not parallel to each other and need to try this method but don't have the tools.

              KTM RC390 - 2015 to 2018

                Hello everyone,
A confused fz25 owner here. Facing acceleration issues for about 2000 kms now. There is judder and lack of power below 2500 rpms, in all gears above which it's all fine. The following diagnosis made till now:

                1. Adjusted idle RPM (which keeps dropping over time) and also adjusted fuel flow to a little higher.
                2. Did FI check and cleaned injector.
                3. Changed spark plug and air filter at the 20k kms service.
                5. Checked clutch. One friction plate looked burnt, but service engineer has to say one friction plate is like that by default.

Odo at 21k kms now. Please advise.

Check and clean the throttle body. Also, check battery condition, weak battery could also have same symptoms since the ignition coil would not be able to generate sufficient electric energy

Go to any decent hardware store and buy only the tools you need, at best you'd need 2 sockets, 1 extension, 1 ratchet and 1 allen-key.

                    Won't cost much.

seems like I'll have to do it finally on my own .. as I am not able to find any good mechanic in Delhi NCR .. I have been searching for quite some time now .. actually I am a bit hesitant to tinker with the bike myself

Bro, just show the video to a mechanic, and ask him to follow suit. It's a very simple procedure.

Trust me on this, there is nothing worse you can do to the motorcycle than what the average mechanic does to it when you're not present.

Update on 1 week with my new steed FZ 25 - Gear shifts were quite hard for first few days. I took it in for a clutch adjustment and gearing became better. I have covered 190 km as of today and am enjoying every moment of it. I felt no fatigue doing the drive from my house in Kadbusanhalli to my in-laws in Yelahanka in peak traffic; I used to be irritated and tired whenever I used to do the same drive in my Discover 150. Not sure if its my enthusiasm or its the FZ effect .

I have some accessories planned for the bike. I have already have the visor fixed today. Also, have placed order for Yamaha seat covers and usb charger at the dealer.

                                Hi members,

I just wanted to share a quick mod update that might be useful for a lot of members here. We all are aware how much of water and dirt is sprinkled from the front tyre during rains and wet road conditions. The reason being the short mudguard.
I just got a simple DIY fix for the same. I got a mud-flap that belongs to RX 100/135. Apply some fevi-quick and stick to inside part of our stock mudguard.
I haven't got the chance to test this mod thoroughly, but I believe should be much better in blocking the water from being sprinkled on shoes, engine etc.
Also doesn't look too bad either.

                                Total cost - 25 INR
