Regarding the recent engine oil debate, my observation is, it all depends on the kind of weather your place has. I belong to Assam, cool, moist weather mostly, and I have found no difference between Yamalube and Motul, whatsoever. But yes, people living in hot areas which are also dry, the Motul will give much better performance.

Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Guys, I have been FZ25 owner since December 2018 and it has been disappointing and awful experience.
Have been suffering from worst vibrations even under seat, foot pegs, Handle bars at as low as 4K RPM.
Also, suspension has been too stiff injuring my back. Visited the SVC multiple times and even tried Escalating with no success.
This has been nth bike and very bad experience. Please help in restoring Japanese feel for the bike which has done 1800 KMS.Last edited by karthik99; 06-01-2019, 09:23 PM.Regards,

I think you are also too sensitive about vibrations like me ! Complete atleast 5k kilometers, after that vibes will be negligible.Originally posted by karthik99 View PostGuys, I have been FZ25 owner since December 2018 and it has been disappointing and awful experience.

They keep checking and come up with wierd explanations - the crash guard is causing it which was provided at the time of delivery itself. The nuts on frame are loose etc.Originally posted by vanp View Postwhat do the svc people have to say about your issues?
The bike is without crash guard nowRegards,

Hope this becomes true. It's something psychic Japanese bikes are with least NVH levels is what ingrained in brain so super sensitive to vibrations.Originally posted by #bpk View PostI think you are also too sensitive about vibrations like me ! Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I am also like you, in my initial period of owning 2018 Honda Hornet , i also did face harsh vibrations and roughness in engine and cursed honda everytime ! But slowly, the bike became smooth and i am happy now. Japanese bikes need a little more kilometers to become smooth.Originally posted by karthik99 View PostHope this becomes true. My cousin use to own Suzuki GS150R and that thing was Ridiculously Smooth right from the beginning. It's a shame that GS150R didn't do well in our market.Originally posted by #bpk View PostJapanese bikes need a little more kilometers to become smooth.2005 HH Karizma [SOLD]

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
okay.. they usually give lame reasons when they are not able to either give a correct solution or correct explanation.. as #bpk has mentioned.. try building more kms on your odo.. i am also like you.. i have the 2018 fzs.. done around 1950 kms.. i have issues like rattling noise.. engine roughness.. vibrations.. over heating.. previously i made up my mind to give up yamalube and use another premium engine oil.. but later i settled for adding more kms to the odo.. try the same.. the thing is.. the more we check our bike.. the more issues we find.. the more worrisome it gets.. try ignoring the issues for now and enjoy your ride.. also don't be too gentle on your bike.. try ripping it a bitOriginally posted by karthik99 View PostThey keep checking and come up with wierd explanations - the crash guard is causing it which was provided at the time of delivery itself. one thing.. do you know which engine oil they've been putting in your bike? there are a few yamalube variants.. like optima prime (mineral) and sporty premium (fully synthetic)Bajaj Pulsar 180 - 2007 to 2015

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I've found apache 160 4v to be electric level smooth even from the factory. It's the smoothest single cylinder bike I've experienced, even fz v3 and r 15 v3 can't match the engine refinement of 160 4v, if we ride the other bikes with apache we can figure out the difference. The handlebar feels as its ignition is off while riding . It's smooth AF !Originally posted by burnoutdee View PostFor that matter even my Hero Impulse was buttery smooth since first ride. It felt like an electric bike.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
It depends on the sensitivity level of an individual. Approximately 99% of owners are happy with the refinement of fz and hornet from the intial period onwards, but you need to test ride another bike for comparison purpose in which case apache shines. People may say me mad, but i found vibes in fz v3 so much that the extra key which was attached with the main key shaked while revving the bike, also mt 15 also has more vibes than apache, I've tested it myself ! Once upon a time unicorn 150 was praised for it's engine smoothness but now apache 160 4v has taken the game forward with enjoyable performance and it's rev happy nature.Originally posted by burnoutdee View PostFor that matter even my Hero Impulse was buttery smooth since first ride. Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
You are partly correct. When I test rode the Impulse I was using Hero Honda CD Deluxe, I also used TVS Star City for a while & found it to be smoother than CD Deluxe. But as soon as I rode Impulse buddy it was like love at first sight...for me it is the epitome of smoothness & riding geometry. Not taking anything from any other bike, it's just my opinion & am not easily impressed.Originally posted by #bpk View PostIt depends on the sensitivity level of an individual.
