Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Guys today i got done my second service. Since i only completed 2000km+ the service centre guy said that the engine oil not necessary to be changed. The 3rd service is at 10000 km or 360days. Should i wait untill 10k kms or should i change the oil in before that??

5000km or 6 months whichever is earlier is the change interval. The user manual has a more detailed schedule what needs to be done when. Nice to familiarise with it.Originally posted by Sivaaravindh View PostShould i wait untill 10k kms or should i change the oil in before that??

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hey,
I've been planning on upgrading my front brake pads for a while now. Does anybody know if the front brake pads used on a 300mm disc (duke 250) will fit for the 282mm disc present on the fz25 ?
Other than this, does anybody have any suggestions to improve the front braking performance of the bike ? I considered sintered pads, but they are very expensive ( almost 3k for EBC)

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hey everyone,
So basically after brainstorming for so much time i had decided to buy fz 25 . and thus went to nearest showroom but they didn't have bike for display nor test ride .Infact some people/sell representative were not even aware if there is some bike called fz 25 and instead tried to sell fzs/fz v3 but after a brief talk agreed to arrange bike on order but dince i wanted to Atleast take a test ride before finally buying fz 25 today i went to nearest big city Jhansi (Atleast its biggest around 😅)
But to my disbelief even they didn't have fz25 for even display (thought they had some r15s,mt15s etc) and on enquiring they replied "there is no drmand for the bike"
Now i am utterly confused for i thought its almost perfect bike for me but now i am not sure if i would even be able to maintain fz 25 without it being sold around here in any significant number.can fz v3 parts be used in fz 25 ???
Should i buy it ???

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
That the reason i am surprised , infact i can see a lot of rc200 ,390 ,dukes , r15s mt15s ,re classic s around while pretty much each of these are costlier. Sonehow dealerships around dont wanna sell particularly fz 25 😥😥😥Originally posted by slopegatri View PostIts the most selling 250cc bike currently iirc.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Maybe that particular area has less demand for this bike (more posers). still you can go for it. consumables are same as r15v3. in fact alot of parts are shared with fz/r15vr3s. service interval is also higher at 5k kms, so lighter on pocket in that regard.Originally posted by Avneesh Mishra View PostThat the reason i am surprised , infact i can see a lot of rc200 ,390 ,dukes , r15s mt15s ,re classic s around while pretty much each of these are costlier. The leg guard looks genuine. But the rubber cushionings appear missing.Originally posted by .sushilkumar View PostAlways remember that you are in badlands of ulta pradesh where things never work straightway even when you are paying them lol .
I am glad, you are getting what you deserve.

Agree . This one looks like locally fabricated at some road side shop. The one which comes for fz15 is far better and sturdy looking than this iteration.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Can anyone here explain why fz25's resale value is too low..?? I was exploring few used bike options in the market and I found few 2017 fz25s were available for as low as 65k only whereas 2019 make was available for 80k. This is shocking for me as 2019 make fz150 is not available below 80k.sigpic

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
issues like rusty exhaust pipe and lack of abs are fixed in 2019 make. I ride a 2019 edition and these are the major differences that I observed between the twoOriginally posted by Naveen1985 View PostCan anyone here explain why fz25's resale value is too low..?? u can use the engine cowl ,but you'll need Down tube comp 2 ,part numberB9xi 11500000HSNOriginally posted by Anupam Das View PostRe: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Brush guards are a possibility, engine cowl may not be so, it may be needed to weld support for fasteners to hold the cowl on to the frame.
