Thanks for your nice suggestion!Originally posted by pankaj2av View PostYes
2 layers of tape on this new damper will change the way the headlights move, I tried replacing just without tape and there was no difference. to replace this you have to loosen and lift the top Yoke. These dampers are pretty low in cost 4rs!

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
thank you! Gixxer onroad in bangalore is 2.25 (this one is about 2.04) ....and i have no experience in suzuki motorcycle, their maintenance and spares status.......yahama, people use it and this is new motorcycle, and spares and maintenance would easily last 5 yearsOriginally posted by Adibaba View PostCongratulations [emoji106] why you chose this over Gixxer 250 ?

You can have the FZ suspension adjusted to the softer side. Besides, the stock setup is soft for sharp cornering and city riding.Originally posted by sanjay8214 View PostRide comfort was a lot more on ZMR than FZ[My Motorcycles]

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I am facing a problem with my FZ25. At speeds above 50, I find that the front wobble quite a bit. It is especially evident when I take both hands off the handlebar and you can see quite a violent shake. Due to this, I was hesitant to go very fast on my last trip and restricted myself to a speed of 80-90.
I had just got it serviced and took it to the service centre again. He said that the brake disc (which was replaced just a month ago) is bent and that could be causing it. It didnt seem logical to me. The reason I changed the disk was because of a pulsating feeling when I applied the brakes which could be due to a bend.
Any thoughts on what it can be? I'll look through the thread also for past experiences of this wobbling to see if others have also faced this

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
zmr had a very comfortable seating, which this bike lacks; i felt suspension on zmr was more comfortable than fzs, and that was also longer...so that was definitely comfortable....this one, lacks in all these dept (in my opinion); however, this has better tyres and breaking feels more planted and more in control. i haven't taken it on highway, so my comparison is so far with city conditions only........+ point in this is, it is easy to move around in city and i don't feel any heating issues like i used to with zmr.....also, although this engine is better than zmr's but the smoothness i felt was a lot more on it than this one.....it is also shorter in length, so that could also contribute to above factors in comfort dept...Last edited by sanjay8214; 09-28-2020, 06:26 PM.

Have the front wheel checked, could have minor bent and that also results in wobble.Originally posted by jaganm View PostI am facing a problem with my FZ25. The steering bearing set may need replacement, it appears.Originally posted by jaganm View PostI am facing a problem with my FZ25. At speeds above 50, I find that the front wobble quite a bit. Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Brush guards are a possibility, engine cowl may not be so, it may be needed to weld support for fasteners to hold the cowl on to the frame.Originally posted by RogueMare View PostAnyone here know if we can use- 1) Engine Cowl, 2) Hand Guards, from the new fzs25 bs6 on the old FZ25??
Also please share pics if someone already did.
