It does even in the first gear. I haven't lugged the engine.
I have tried 2 other FZ25s (of friends) and they don't have this problem. Even, my bike didn't have this problem.

Today, I have adjusted the chain slacks to 40mm and aligned the rear wheel based on the markings provided in swingarm but haven't rode the bike to check for the vibration problem.

Please also suggest for good service center in Bangalore. Earlier the previous owner had maintained all the 3 free and 1 paid service in "Laxmi Yamaha" jp Nagar. So far the bike condition is well maintained.

Shall I continue with showroom service or local mechanic, I knew a person locally from KTM service center technician , does weekend work.

Welcome bro. For servicing, I don't know about there as I am from Nepal. If you know that KTM guy, you can do servicing there but do buy genuine parts. You can do on authorized service centers if you don't want to void the warranty.

I am planning to do servicing myself from now on. Those SVCs guys are very unreliable [emoji23]

Don't know about Bangalore but I'll advise to stick to a Yamaha service as they send their staff on model specific training programs but only if they do their job properly and promptly and as different workshops have different staff, it impacts on how they do their jobs, I personally travel 120kms from where I live when I have to get my bikes worked on about something that I don't have the proper tools to work on myself as that's the best svc/workshop I found for Yamaha bikes in all of Jharkhand so.... but you can go to the KTM guy if he's good [emoji1417].

HELP NEEDED (FZ25 Non-ABS Model)

I am trying to install GPS module on my bike.
There are 3 wires, 2 wires are for power and I have connected them to the battery properly.

The third wire is to identify whether the bike is on/off.
I know it must be connected to one of the wire coming out from ignition switch(key) but I don't want to strip off the original wiring.

So, anyone have any idea where to connect the third wire? (Any plug/socket)

Connect a wire to pilot lamp positive (blue) wire. you can use y type male/female bullet connector to do that. no need to strip/cut anything.

Thanks but I connected to the blue wire of rear parking lamp as rear light is also always on whenever the ignition is on.

I connected to the coupler and didn't strip the wire

Actually that's what i meant, because it turns on when key is on. just like front pilot lamp. anyway either one serves the purpose.

The vibration is so much that the indicator on rear fender shakes too much and there is also high impact on foot pegs.

Check the chain and both sprockets, rear wheel bearing. swingarm etc. clean/re-grease/replace as required.

I used the same principle to connect these white/amber running lights/indicators, I have them acting as white running lights on low beam and amber on high beam.....no cutting/splicing, just disconnected the headlight socket and put the three wires in the needed holes and reconnected the socket and done...needed it working the opposite way though(amber for low beam and white for high beam) and it doesn't do it(white doesn't come on for high beam just amber all the time) if there's a solution please let me know.

It won't work , because low/high beam positive wire doesn't come alive at same time, although low beam works with high beam because inside the headlight there's an led driver, and it uses a diode to power on low beam along with high beam. that's why you are facing that issue ( yellow is high+ve , green is low+ve)

i won't recommend using headlight socket to power anything else, because its controlled by ecu (and doesn't use relay) and it will add additional load on ecu. try using relays and switches for extra lighting instead.

Bro, could you please let us know from your know how, as to if it is possible to fit the full headlight assembly and left side switch gear of previous gen FZ25 with the BS6 fz25 headlight and switch gear..??

its possible , but not worth the price imo ( total cost will be around 10k and you will need to cut/strip current wiring harness). because light output is not that much better compared to older unit. better spend that money to install bi-led projectors in older unit.
