My bike's battery went kaput within 2 months of purchase. I got the battery(Exide, black colour, 1 year warranty) replaced at the dealer's sevice centre after some arguments. New one is of red colour with 48 months warranty(Exide Xplore). I also happened to meet a Yamaha scooter owner who had come to get the battery replaced after 7 months. It seems that the original battery (s) that come with the bike(s) is not that good.

Btw, it looks like bs6 version is using same projector as seen on mt-15. it's class D headlamp so peak brightness would be around 70000cd. which isn't much higher compared to BS4's headlamp ( 56000cd) although i believe new projector lamp can be modified for much higher intensity easier than current led unit we have.

I opened my bike's headlight. Checked the 2 screws you had mentioned. Those were full tight. After close examination I found that the headlight shakes at the 2 dampers mounted at the bottom of the upper fork clamp. I have purchased 2 new dampers. I hope it works after installing the new dampers. Even if it doesn't work a little packing inside the older dampers or new ones should certainly rid the shaking problem to a great extent. I shall give it a try as I get some free time. Anyway thanks for your concern.

Guys i have an issue with a front brake so i went to a service centre. And they said that the front wheel sensor got damaged! And i have no Idea how this happened. Since it's damaged they said that it can't covered under warranty! Any one knows what will be the cost of the sensor? (Fz 25 abs)

              Hi.
I was planning on a tire upgrade for my Fz250. I was wondering if anyone here knew whether or not I can upsize the front tire to a 110 section without changing the mudguard and fork positions.
The tires I had in mind were the Apollo Alpha H1 and the Michellin Pilot Street Radial, both of which start from 110.
If anyone on here has done it, do also let me know if there are any drastic handling differences if both tires are upsized.

110 section fits without any issue using mrf masseter 110 in front since over a year even 150 at rear is fixable without any issues

I have not fitted the new dampers yet. But it seems to be not much difficult.

Hello fellow riders, I used to own a unicorn 150 and took a break from riding for almost 5 years. Now I’m itching to get back in the game and this is where I’m confused. I more or less finalised fz25 bs6 version as my next bike when I came across lot of complaints regarding tappet noises and coin rattling etc with this particular engine. Is this still an issue? My second choice was gixxer 250 and MT15. Should I go ahead with the booking of fz25?

Hi, using the bike since Dec 19 and let me tell you I've rarely faced that noise. Also given from what i've understood in this forum is that the noise is a characteristic of the engine and not a defect. People who have tried making adjustments to solve it end up facing some new issue. It's just a very minor noise and does not effect the performance in any way.

I’ve read many mention it to be a characteristic of the engine. I don’t mind mild unusual noises as long as the reliability and performance is intact. Thanks a lot for the quick reply.

Ya it's very minimal, infact the number plate clattering is louder if it is not glued properly.
