Will think about future in future. It's fun right now, started enjoying it love doing engine rev matching and engine breaking with this sound. Maybe will replace exhaust with some premium one in next few months. Let's seeOriginally posted by Shashank K R View PostAnd what about engine issues in the future?

Ok then. So have you installed the exhaust for only the sound, or performance too?Originally posted by perminder_klair View PostWill think about future in future. Will give no performance benefit.Yes it's welded. Installed it for just sound experiment. I don't see any performance improvement at all. Bike is at 1400kms.Originally posted by Shashank K R View PostOk then. So have you installed the exhaust for only the sound, or performance too?
Going to try akrapovic exhaust next week. Will see how that sound. This one sounds too loud, after 6000rpms it just goes crazy trust me.

Just an advice don’t install any random exhaust and you have welded it, I am not sure how would you change your exhaust to akrapovic (that too I guess replica is available).Originally posted by perminder_klair View PostI just replaced my stock exhaust with some Yes I totally understand about warranty issues.

Yea totally understand, but just wanted to do it and did it... I trying to find original Akrapovic, not sure how to check if its original or not. Maybe will add bit more bend on the pipe for bit better sound.Originally posted by Chandan92 View PostJust an advice don’t install any random exhaust and you have welded it, I am not sure how would you change your exhaust to akrapovic (that too I guess replica is available).
Trying to get into biking, will learn with time.. just starting out.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Finally the long awaited upgrade is done. Today changed the master cylinder to that of classic 350.The braking ,feel ,bite evrything improved a lot.Didn't expect that this would enhance the braking to such an extent. There's hardly any free play in the lever.Just 2 fingers on the lever are enough for a stoppie[emoji14]
this is the max lever play

I am planning to upgrade the rear brake hose to that of duke 200's soon.[emoji1]

I dont think it is safe, yes it is cool and you have good bite in the front. When panick breaking, this may lead to disaster.Originally posted by SASWAT NAYAK View PostFinally the long awaited upgrade is done. Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
yes that's true but somewhat I didn't like the brakes of the fz25,it didn't have the feel and feedback like the other yamahas eg. r15 and fzs.. There's literally too much play in the lever.Originally posted by Harrisoncool View PostI dont think it is safe, yes it is cool and you have good bite in the front. Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Bro, there's a reason behind the lack of bite. The bike's a maniac, you already know. In fact, if you press down the foot brake, you will feel a reverting pulse. You can brake as hard as you want at any speeds, the BRAKES WON'T LOCK. Not a cool move.Originally posted by SASWAT NAYAK View PostFinally the long awaited upgrade is done. Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I have heared many complaining about lack of bite, not sure why they expect the breaks to lock up the wheel and tyres to screech on the road. Its got a mild bite, so anyone can stop the bike at desired distance. A break test should prove this... expectation of abs comes in only when the bite is strong and the wheels lock up.
