Get on that riding glove game ASAP, it makes a world of difference IMO [emoji16]
Agreed mate, I started riding with gloves sometime back and I must say it makes a whole lot of a difference. Even the vibrations above 4k is not as pronounced on the wrists as it used to be when riding without gloves.

    Cheers!

The bikes max torque reaches at 6k RPM beyond which you cant expect more thats why its sluggish in 7k margin. I am pretty sure it does good speed at 6k RPM ( I dont own one yet). To attain max speed, my advise is to keep it simple, this bike is not ment for aggressive acceleration, you just have to be smooth and you can really see the difference. The bike will be really fun to ride.

      2. With regards to clutch, my test ride vehicle had the issue, SC told me that adjusting the clutch will do the magic, try that may be it will be helpful.

Seating is upright as compared to RC and R15 although its not as upright as say an NS. Its just slightly leaned forward.

I'm 6 ft tall and i find the seat pretty roomy where i can slide back in the seat to sit in a slightly leaned down yet comfortable position.

Hey guys.... This is kind of a late time to be asking because I'm gonna book my bike on 15th of August I'll be booking the black colour, so I wanted to ask the dealer to change the tyre on my bike , i looked for some tyres and i think I'll put Pirelli diablo rosso 2 140/70 in the rear, i haven't either on the front tyre yet, please suggest what you think I should do, should I just let the stock tyres be? Or the change would be better? Also please tell me what changes would a fatter tyre have on the performance of the bike... Waiting for your suggestions ... Thanks

Congrats mate! I highly suggest you stick with the stock tyres for now. Spend those monies on a good gears or on pampering your bike with some wrapping or anything.

                Cheers!

Thank-you for your suggestions guys I'm going with the stock tyres , and I'll have to book the bike some other day since most of the showrooms are closed tomorrow, also........ I wanted to inspect a few bikes from the warehouses of showrooms and then select one of them, but they don't allow people to go to their warehouses.

After you book/pay for the bike, inform dealer that you will inspect the bike before it goes for registration. Once you pay completely for it dealers will be willing to show you your bike.

Some dealers allow and some dont. Depends and rapports and how friendly the dealer is.
Just do through PDI with the bike. And dont get it invoiced to your name until you are ok with it.

                            Hello guys.. Some concerns.

                            1. First thing is fe..only showing 29 (odo-150) is it normal?. Can i expect better fe after 1st service?
                            2. Thr is some coin type noise from engine at around 3-5k rmp. I have seen lot of guys complaining the same. What could be the reason? Is it possible to fix it?

Got my bike serviced today, it had 946kms ODO. Total cost of bill was 1035 INR.
Issues i had - Gears felt hard for shifting, felt Vibrations near tank at 4000rpm, both wheels disk dragging/padding.
When I took my bike for service SA inspected the bike and told me that chain was relatively clean and I don't have to opt for chain cleaning. They only changed oil filter and added new oil.
After service - Only first gear feels slight hard and rest of the gears are butter smooth.

While billing I gave them credit card and I was informed that I'll be charged 2% extra for credit card and 1.5% for debit card respectively. Even though it's illegal to charge extra for customer their attitude and rudeness irked me slightly, I'll be sure to drop an email to yamaha about his matter and will include headlight issue too.

Sorry to say ,nothing can be done regarding this.I have already complained 6 times regarding this and their response was"it's normal in a 2 valve engine like fz25". This saturday they replaced the timing chain tensioner suspecting that to be the cause for the sound but after replacement also the sound still exists. But to be honest ,the sound in my bike has reduced to some extent.Only I am able to hear the sound when the engine is super hot otherwise not much of sound.Initially I thought it to be tappet sound but the issue seems to be something else.
