    Forgot to including this -
    - don't maintain constant speed. Keep varying throttle slightly.
-for every 45min of continuous ride, give engine a 15min break.

I know the bike has a tendency to push through traffic but the wait will be worth it.

        Hi Guys,

I have a stalling issue in my FZ25 .I just had a 2nd service 2 days back at 4800 kms and facing this issue since then.

Aftet riding for 3-4 kms engine suddenly gets stalled and refuses to start again. This usually happen when Im in 2nd or 3rd gear. Doesnt happen when Im above 50kmph speed.

It feels like as petrol supply to the engine has cut off when it stalls. I'll have to wait for 10-15 mins again to start and then suddenly after 1 km of ride the same issue if I'm in lower gear. I had more than half a tank of petrol and I usually fill at Shell only.

What could be the possible reasons for thia issue?

Hi all, I'm a mountain biker hoping to inject some excitement into my commute. I'm looking at the Duke 250 (which is waaaay over my budget) and the FZ25 (which is definitely inside my budget). Got a couple of questions for you guys...

          1. How "tall" is the fifth gear? Is the throttle response and engine braking relaxed (like an overdrive gear in a car) or do I need to hold the throttle?
          2. What are your friends or better halves saying about the pillion seat?

Thanks in advance, this thread has been very helpful.

There are many reasons for this kind of issue, most of them are -
            1. Riding slow at higher gear.
            2. Incorrect idling value.
            3. Incorrect air fuel mixture
            4. Water inside tank
            5. Clogged passage of FI system
            6. TCI ignition issue

Is your engine overheating? Low engine oil is the likely culprit in this case. Check the oil inside the engine using the dipstick.

              1. Run bike for atleast 5 minutes.

              2. Let it cool down so you are not dealing with scalding hot oil.

              3. Mount the bike on the main stand.

              4. Open the dipstick cap and clean it with a clean rag.

              5. Insert the dipstick without screwing the cap back on (this is important!)

              6. You should have some oil on the dipstick. If not your oil level is low and you can risk damaging the engine.

Do it ASAP as an engine should not really be run low on oil.

              Hope the problem gets resolved.

                Hi all,

I am a owner of a new Fz25 which has done close to 500km. During the rains the rear mudguard seems to be of no use, as it splashes dirt towards the pillion legs. So, I am planning to fit the rear mudguard of fz-16 version 2.0, as it seems to be a direct fit. Has anyone in the forum tried this.

I'm also looking for a solution. My SVC guy told me it is not possible to adjust the current one or to fit the tyre hugger of fz16.

It's a common issue with new bikes. It's called disk padding, normally the SC guys should fix it immediately but they'll postpone till first service as it only causes negligible wear on brake pads and rotor

                          Hello folks,

Got my new FZ delivered day before yesterday. But without leg guard as my dealer told me it is not available right now. i have checked with Babloo Motors in Vashi, they have the same answer. Anyone from Navi Mumbai with leg guard fitted?

Will come up soon with my all over experience.

                          Thanks.

Hey guys im finding some issues in my FZ25 that need some help in resolving. It would be nice to have some input from you guys as well as warn you of potential problems that can happen to your bike

                            1. The front and rear wheels are not freewheeling; as in they stop as if the brake pads are touching the disk abruptly, even when the bike is off and and on the main stand.

                            2. When manually moving the rear wheel by hand on the main stand, there is a clicking sound coming from the sprockets. Researching on the internet and most of the opinions state as a tight chain and requires immediate adjustment.

                            3. There is a ticking/metal rattle sound across all RPM ranges which is high pitched and pretty loud, looks like a valve clearance issue going by the previois posts. is this valve noise bad or entirely normal? Do i need to show this to the service tech?

                            4. Bike has done 1200 kms. First service has already been done in which Valve adjustment was NOT done. When i came back and checked the periodic maintenance chart, it says that a valve adjustment and a Spark plug adjustment has to be done in the first service. Do i need to worry? Did you guys get the valve and spark plug work done in your first service?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks [emoji106]

I guess there may be some alignment issue with sprocket.... get it back to service centre asap..... they can help you better with this and talk to the service center manager regarding the missing services that you have noticed....

I thought the tyre hugger is adjustable. May be u should try that before replacing.
