if we are talking about how crazy/stupid ppl can be on roads, nothing beats downright suicidal tendencies of people in Delhi. they are trained to drive / ride inches away from you regardless their speeds. also mush that accelerator completely at even a few meters of empty strech. hardly anyone has proper control on their vehicles.

riding elsewhere, if i ride defensively produces good safe results. but you are unsafe in Delhi even if you ride defensively cause ppl will bang you from behind cause you too slow or whatever.
Ride in uttar pradesh you will come to know real riding where people don.t follow traffic rules

Today i went for first free service. It cost me around Rs.1066 . Engine oil cost is about 750...bike is performing very nice and i am satisfied with its performance and mileage getting about 38kmpl.for a 250cc engine its more than enough basically in easy words i can say the moto of this bike is to serve the pickup and power of ktm duke200 and mileage of royal enfield classic 350...what else we want from bike.kudos to yamaha

So, got my FZ25 delivered yesterday.
My 390 got sold and did not spend much time in getting FZ25.
Went to showroom, selected the bike. Got PDI done and then paid the amount.

Initial choice of Cyan, but somehow that only bike in cyan did not convince me during my PDI.
Black was 2nd Option and White was totally rules out by my Wife.

        OTR: 1.41

Accessories: Ladies foot rest for now (SVC guys struggled to fit it, after i showed a pic from here they were able to fit). Crash guard will follow.

Bike has been bought from Arjun Yamaha, Hyderabad.

Showroom is pretty new and staff were helpful. They gave me complete freedom in selecting the bike. I rejected two bike after wash was done and they started the engine.

Initial impressions will be posted after 500 KMs.
The headlight flicker is there and will adjust it later on.
Gears are pretty hard as of now.
        Bike is smooth and refined.

Planned Cosmetic Mods: RIM Strips, LED Pilot Lamp and some reflective tape at key areas.
Ladies footrest cost brother where did you found this ladies footrest

Does anyone know the price of Handle Bars of FZ25? I don't owe one of those but have a FZ16 2016 model and i like those wide handle bars on mine. It'd be real awesome while cornering.

Planning to take insurance myself. Will all included, OTR is coming to 142722 .

Dealer is claiming 2 years standard warranty extended upto 5 years by paying additional 777Rs. Is it true since it makes it 5 years warranty.
Don't go for extending your warranty. On the service manual book it is written that yamaha does not claim any extended warranty.

Extended warranty is very useful ,it will take up to five years covering the engine ,air induction system, electricals including the wiring harness and the whole FI system.

                  Its not.

Its almost a scam. They can(and almost will) refuse to cover the extended warranty as well if you've done even a single electrical modification in your bike like a headlamp upgrade or for engine, even did the oil type change and they find out. Basically keep the bike stock for 5 years and we'll see to cover it, that's an extended warranty is. In my opinion, it's not worth paying even 700 bucks.

                  Regards.

If you are making any modifications then the mistake is from your side buddy , basic mods like twin horns or a led pilot lamp doesn't makes any harm in that.

                      Define mistake?

Changing oil manufacturer is not a mistake, neither is plonking projectors or LEDs as main Lamps without cutting any wires. Still the SVCs might/will refuse to cover in case anything goes wrong. You don't have to believe me, try for yourself.

PS: Of course your repo with the SVC guys will make a difference here.

                      Regards.

this bike can also go same way and you would be waiting some 6 months to 1 yr before you get to ride it.

if you cant wait that long then go for fz. else wait and see when its launched.

bike is looking good. more like gixxer sf to gixxer where handling is as good or better than naked version.
Suzuki this engine is double cylinder it will be lot more costlier than fz25

Please mail me ASAP if you have paid any on my mail [email protected] and if you have any price list then attach it, it will be best.
Handling and Logistics charges must not be charged to customer. These are artificial charges that are used by dealer to increase their margin.
Look on Google for Hyundai-Customer scenario where Consumer Court has fine Hyundai.

Almost all mirrors will vibrate at one point of RPM.

Looks like FZ25 would need front mud flap. Lots of muck falling on exhaust pipe and engine area. Will get that fitted.
