Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I wanted to install a pair of Auxiliary lights. When I enquired about the same in the Yamaha Customer care, the response was installing anything like this will kill the electrical warranty. Since FI comes under electrical warranty, I didn't want to take a chance and dropped the idea of installing Aux light. After seeing the videos of the headlight throw getting better after the adjustment, I'm feeling bit less anxious now.Originally posted by fusioncoast View PostLast edited by ashwinjoze; 04-23-2017, 12:12 AM.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I'll do that beginning today, thanks. I haven't pushed past the 5K rpm yet.Originally posted by ankit.traveller View PostIncrease load on engine little bit more day by day. Just for a second rev it to around 5-6k rpm and slow down.

Well there's also about 15 kms I ride in the city traffic, the pace of the traffic manages to move me through the gears and through the rev ranges along with some amount of idling too.Originally posted by achutharunr View PostWhat rev range are you varying it in?
I remember reading somewhere that if you don't vary the RPM range, it causes uneven wear on the piston. I forget the exact term. Is this true?
On the empty stretch I used to just ease on the throttle every 60 seconds or so - as the bike's in 5th Gear - 5k RPM - Doing 60/62 kmph.
Getting the engine down to about 2.5/3k and then ride up the spectrum to 5k.
Then repeat!

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Well said. Agreed!! Even I Felt the seat should be more cushioned. It is very hard to sit for a long time. Also guys, I have been to #Yamaha SwagBash bangalore. Got the engine oil changed for free. They charged only for oil filter. Also, regarding head light. It can be adjusted and it is throwing enough light. We have people from Japan monitoring the event. They showed us how the head light should be in highbeam. They factory setup which is coming with bike is not at all proper for the head light. Don't go with the initial thoughts on head light. It can be improved. They also adjusted the gears and they are smooth now and it is easy to find the neutral. Will post the videos of yamaha fmx stunt show

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Got my White FZ25 on 10th April.
Completed around 600 kms so far. Roaming in the city only to complete 1000km as soon as possible. So far so good.
Thinking of buying a saddle gel or something similar for long rides which can be attached and detached easily. Any suggestions?
Sharing a short video of yesterday's ride.

The tires worked well. It's same as the one that used to come with FZ/Fazer. Not much difference.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
haha....what a bunch of morons..similiar thing happened to my brother who was scolded by people for riding his dominar during day time with headlamp on..[emoji23]Originally posted by Prnv View PostGot stopped by the cops here in Goa yesterday. They wanted to fine me for "dazzling headlights", that too during daytime.
They finally let me go after a lot of convincing that yes, the headlight is indeed factory fitted.
