Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Yes there are noticeable vibrations at 5-5.5k RPM. Post 1st service they become less and won't be a problem..However post 5.5k RPM it is smooth like in the initial RPM.Originally posted by Xothana View PostLeh,Ladakh & Lahaul Ride to Heaven & Back - http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/tourer/1...aven-back.html

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I think its good to know how this bike will behave at higher RPMs from the actual owners, given that its not just a tourer really, its a city/street fighter so that matters. Also he lost his RS200 in a freak accident, so probably churning out every single piece of data in case he goes for FZ25. Is that right @IamAditya buddy?Originally posted by atulmnh View PostAditya, i have seen you mentioning lot many times about the refinement of this bike at 7K rpm. Bike draws max torque at 6k rpm. So why going after 7K rpm only?

My parents won't allow a sports bike, pulsar or KTM... They don't know what these bikes are just because of the screwing from some stupid relatives.
So i would mostly end up on a commuter, considering the air cooled, 5 gears & Pillion comfort, FZ25 is something i would be able to convince my parents! Hope so..

Get a Bullet, look them straight in the eyes and ask them, "Who's the Killer now?"Originally posted by IamAditya View PostYes.

They care about you man, also they have an agenda - you'll spend most of your time fixing the Bull. So no time to ride the bike - no accident. Peace of mind for everyone.Originally posted by IamAditya View PostEveryone coming to see me are telling my parents to get me a Bullet .

Is fz 25 good for me
Greetings xbhpians,
I am a PG student and i am confused about choosing a bike.i have to do around 80km commuting (both sides) and occassional touring.i shortlisted ktm duke 200 ,pulsar ns 200 and Fz 250 since i only want a naked bike.i eliminated duke 200 because its more costly, have narrow seats and heating problems.the reason for eliminating ns 200 is because i find it difficult to pull back the bike since i am skinny and short (5'6) and also its low turning radius.now i am stuck at Fz 250 cause it offers better comfort ,low seat height and FE.is it a worthy choice
My major concerns are:-
√ Better comfort
√ Better mileage
√ low seat height
(since i am the person who is gonna pay for every after sales cost)
√ Decent power
( i dont wanna more power since its useless in our roads)
√ Decent top speed
(as i will be doing occassional touring)
√ Less vibes/no vibes
√ Low maintenance cost
Please help me with your precious suggestions & advice

If only, Suzuki had also reached the market quickly with a 250/300 Gixxer Fi that could accommodate a 5'11 tall rider comfortably....unlike the 150 cc!!!
That would have sent these guys running off on their toes to keep customers happy.
