Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Thats the thing I was waiting for in tourer prospective of this bike. Now feeling a sigh of relief after your comments on comfort and load carrying capacity. Also please share which saddle bag you used as I have right now cramster colt which I was using in my zma?Originally posted by Anunay View PostHi Everyone.
Did an 800 km ( approx) tour.
Route - Bangalore - Kollegal - Dhondeling - Sathyamangalam - Mettupalayam - Kotagiri - ooty - Mysore - Bangalore.
- Done with a pillon and Saddle bags. Mileage - 37-38 km.
- Average speed maintained was 70-75 kmph.
- Max i went was 135 kmph
- Bike feels at home at around 105-110.
- Loads of torque every where.
- Plush suspension for touring and bad roads.
This bike has certainly more powerful than it is shown on paper.
A guy ( NS200) from nowhere passed very closely and then I lost my cool. And i had to make him stop and feel my heat.
It pulled from 5th gear at 60kmph to 135kmph. Thats a furious torque which I missed in my r15.
Attaching few pics
I will be getting mine in couple of days more. Thanks a lot for this post.

I am using NH4 motorheads ktm duke saddle bags. Its a universal fit. I think cramster colt too should fit in Fz25.Originally posted by ankit.traveller View PostThats the thing I was waiting for in tourer prospective of this bike. Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Does anyone experience loss of control due to "blow and suck" effect while overtaking heavy vehicles. One of my friends told he faced the issue. Is the fuel tank plastic? What about the quality of plastics in general. I am in the final lap of taking the decision to buy the bike.

Thank you. It would be beneficial if you can post the image of the page of owner's manual which mentions the run in procedure.Originally posted by Vishal Rohra View Postfor proper running in the bike refer to manual and follow instructions as written
