Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
What exactly? Tappet sound? It is common for new engine before settling in. Generally service guys ignore this, force them to adjust the tappets with feeler gauge.Originally posted by harig93 View PostI recently faced a tappet issue on my yamaha fz 25 at around 944 kms the issue is yet to be resolved

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
It's quite common especially when you consider the weight of motor bike Vs heavy vehicle..Best way to avoid this is to have sufficient gap between bike and the vehicle before and after overtaking . Cutting in too close or overtaking closer to the vehicle will have this effect.Originally posted by AJAY SREEKUMAR K View PostDoes anyone experience loss of control due to "blow and suck" effect while overtaking heavy vehicles. One of my friends told he faced the issue. Is the fuel tank plastic? What about the quality of plastics in general. I am in the final lap of taking the decision to buy the bike.

The sound is like a metal rattle clearly audible after a throttle input. They said they have to open the top of the engine to adjust it. To do it they have to remove the tank tooOriginally posted by ankit.traveller View PostWhat exactly? Tappet sound? It is common for new engine before settling in. Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Yes, they are right. That's pretty simple job and comes in regular maintenance. Get it done coz its important. Due to extra heat of new engine tappet clearance increases which should be adjusted to stock settings after few 100 kms. Insist your service guys to adjust tappet in cold engine and with tool called feeler gauge.Originally posted by harig93 View PostThe sound is like a metal rattle clearly audible after a throttle input. That beam throw is useless and dangerous. Please adjust it asap.Originally posted by skyliner34 View PostHere is a small video I made regarding bike's HU performance in real world.
Also note the HU vibrations on patchy surfaces. Not sure if this issue is random .
Yes there are vibrations of HU on rough surface. I think there is manufacturing defect in either bolting HU or LED socket coz many others also reported same.

Yes sir, already got it adjusted and the low beam throw and spread are much much better now, still high beam is bad.Originally posted by ankit.traveller View PostThat beam throw is useless and dangerous. Please adjust it asap.

Can you please elaborate what plate it is or what exactly it is called? Few pics of the same would also help immensely.Originally posted by chakresh View PostThere's a faulty plate inside , get to the service center and it will be replaced .
Last time I visited the SC they had no idea, useless people.
