As mentored earlier.. Bike feels lighter and much easy to handle as its more upright position than bend down..

Tappet noise by you mean sewing machine sound (?) , it wont go automatically, you have to inform them during your services.

Guys, not sure if this is relevant in this thread, i saw few articles talk about Fazer 250 launch in India this year. Is that just rumours or anyone has a solid Intel?

              Hi Dinesh,

              Thank you!

Yes, its almost sounds like a sewing machine. I guess I will mention it in the first service and will get resolved.

              Ride Safe,

fazer will be real. someone from higher management at yamaha said its logical to have fazer model. but timeframe was not given. you might have to wait an year maybe or more.

also strangely enough even if ceo of bike companies in our country says something doesnt mean it will happen. case in point bmw g310r.

it is most credible info you can get still might not be true. i believe it once i see bike on showroom floor.

Ready to wait for a year? Then may be..
BTW there will hardly be any difference between fz and fazer except for the semi-fairing, which imo looks horrendous anyway.. But yeah, it does serve a purpose in highways..

Have seen it being being tested at the Yamaha factory in final stages.

do you tour only? have zero interest in sport credentials of a bike? then wait for fazer.

if you have even mild curiosity in handling, having a blast around corners, go for fz.

fz will tour comfortably as well provided you keep it at 80 kmph or less. that quarter fairing on fazer is an add on and not one with the bike like r15. it does make bike front heavy. as a result tip ins on bike are not as effortless and require a bit more effort. otherwise it handles well as well.

for me personally its fz any time.

                            Hey don't worry.
I had similar problem for 2 weeks. I was so unhappy because of that.
But after 1.5 months I am used to it. No pain now even riding 200 km a day.
                            Wait for few days.

Is it similar to the current Fazer 150 or does it have a better styling?

I use the Yamalube chain clean and lube combo. It's the same Motul C1 and C2. Once in 500km as per manual. Lube on the chain makes a big difference in responsiveness. But I am looking for a simpler way that lasts longer.

A possibility is that you are resting your hands on the metal bar ends. I used to do that on my earlier bike but here it vibrates intensively on the metal ends. The grips are fairly soft and comfortable.
