For cleaning chain I am using diesel and a tooth brush and for lubing a mixture of EP140 and grease. It works great fro me (gets little dirty though).

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
If you can wait for 1 more year and you are a fan of Fazer 16 design then yes.Originally posted by Harrisoncool View PostConfused now.. should i wait or should i go for FZ
Otherwise you can fit aftermarket windshield which will serve the purpose.
Personally i dont like adding fairing to the naked bikes and calling it faired or semi faired bike. For me the look wise i like the actual design which they are intended to.

The bike was all covered , the headlamp assembly was single unit not like the double bulb set up in current ones.Originally posted by Duoscribe View PostIs it similar to the current Fazer 150 or does it have a better styling?Keep ur friends close.....but keep ur enemies closer.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
While checking top speed you have to take multiple tries to get the max out of the engine.Originally posted by ankit.traveller View PostCompleted 1000 kms today. Tried testing top speed but speedo not going above 130kmph even on full throttle and full crouch on tank. Though wind was little bit high but not that it can effect top speed too much.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Ankit, when you wanna test the top speed of your motorcycle, then ensure that you redline at every gear. Only then you can extract max top speed. If you are trying to push the bike only in 5th or 6th gear, then it may max out much earlier than it's potential. And, this is recommended for only testing purpose.Originally posted by ankit.traveller View PostCompleted 1000 kms today. True. Actually I have habit of my zma, it easily touches its max speed of 125kmph in roll on run also in 5th gear from any speed.Originally posted by experimentalhead View PostAnkit, when you wanna test the top speed of your motorcycle, then ensure that you redline at every gear. It was just a single try in my fz25, I know that engine is new and will take some time to rev at max freely in "load conditions"

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
fz 25 is meant for only acceleration not top speed I guess, saw a video of funk Yamaha on YouTube bike struggles past 130 and doesn't go beyond 135.considering speed error true speed should be less.may be it's new bike or changing chain sprocket to lesser teeth may help.Originally posted by ankit.traveller View PostTrue. Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Yup, it's either this or that. I believe a smaller sprocket, should help attain speeds of 140 or higher. Would be nice to see if someone experiments thisOriginally posted by IamAditya View PostSo you loss acceleration.
Btw, does any one have any idea which bike's sprocket (smaller) will be a easy fit for the Fz25?
