I am getting consistent 37kmpl..1200km till date..getting jelous of learning about 50kmpl plus milage..am i a bad biker? Do i use brake clutch often? Otherwise i cant find the rationality about this milage discrepancy..Originally posted by Rajathrajk View Post

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Avg fuel efficiency is per/L so in your case it is 42.Originally posted by Rajathrajk View PostGuys I have a doubt the average fuel efficiency shows 42 but I filled 7L (above reserve) and I got a range of 400km wtf is happening today my bike came for reserve
You also say , you filled before reserve so 7L+2-3L reserve= 9-10L FUEL, so avg fuel consumption is correct and hence you get a correct range of km and not 55+ fuel efficiency.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
When a 155cc motorcycle gets a FM of ~45-50kmpl, do you really think you can squeeze out 50kmpl from a 250cc motorcycle?Originally posted by xdocx View PostI am getting consistent 37kmpl..1200km till date..getting jelous of learning about 50kmpl plus milage..am i a bad biker? Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences

Filled petrol 6.85L( above reserve) and I have done 267km and I think still it can run 100km to reach reserve .
😐😶 Now what's the mileage ?Last edited by Rajathrajk; 05-15-2017, 05:22 PM.

You can't calculate accurately through this way.. Try a tank full to tank full. And the distance traveled in between should help you find the accurate mileage.Originally posted by Rajathrajk View Post

Imo, people getting 35+ city mileage should be happy, as it's a pretty good mileage for a quarter litre bike..

Okay let's minus 5-7 per litre but still 😋Originally posted by ramdante View PostYou can't calculate accurately through this way.. Try a tank full to tank full. And the distance traveled in between should help you find the accurate mileage.

If you want to calculate this way I will suggest below method:Originally posted by Rajathrajk View PostFilled petrol 6.85L( above reserve) and I have done 267km and I think still it can run 100km to reach reserve .

Reset reading of trip meter as the bike hits reserve. Now fill the petrol and remember how much liter of fuel was poured (say A liters). Now when the bike hits reserve again, check the trip reading (say B kms). You can divide B/A to get your mileage.
