Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I had a similar noice. I pointed it out at the SVC and the service engineer told me that that is the sound of the rocker arm and that it is the inherent mechanical sound. Post first service, the sound is still there.Originally posted by venkatmechanical.89 View PostI will try to record boss, its not audible when i hear through phone...but you can hear the noise alive, its sounds tik tik...similar to old school wall clock sound but in a fast manner...

Yes little tappet sound will be there. In my case there is slight rattle/whistling at 4k to 5k rpm.Originally posted by achutharunr View PostI had a similar noice. Do a little research before quotingOriginally posted by chakresh View PostThere's nothing as a mineral oil in the 10w40 grade .
Explore all Motul products, find the perfect oil for your engine, durable and high-performance products for all cars, motorcycles, heavy-duty vehicles, and bicycles.
If you cant find one in your city/area, go to a Suzuki SVC/Spare parts warehouse and buy a 1liter Suzuki tagged Motul 10w40 bottle.
In Yamalube you can opt for Optima or OptimaPrime as well. For My Gixxer Related videos: Click HERE

Vinu, please go with whatever oil Yamaha recommendsOriginally posted by Vinu Pillai View PostPlease give good suggestions instead of word-firing each other.im confused which type of engine oil to select 🤔🤔
They designed the engine, they usually know what oil can work best.
Synthetic oils cause less wear and tear, so when you are breaking in the engine, if you use mineral oil, the break in is done faster according to internet experts.
However, there is no practical difference between mineral and synthetic break in as long as you follow manufacturer recommended change intervals. That's all that matters.

This is FS oil from which is recommended by yamaha for fz25. SC poured it in first service.
