for android, you need to install the ktm my ride app..

I have that app installed. Never shows the phone is connected with the bike even though it is. I do not understand the purpose of the app except to show pairing instructions.
I have also observed that even though the bike is connected with the phone the incoming calls never get notified on the display. And the music control also does not display the track being played.
Pairing the phone with both the bike and Bluetooth headset is a problem that I do not even want to talk about.
KTM should really provide a robust solution for android users.

maybe one of the android users here might help you out.. last I know is that you need the code to login to the app and then only you can pair to the bike.. you will get the code once the bike is registered to your name in the KTM database.. I think you need to send an email for that..

I think you are talking about the owner's manual app. I sent an email to register and was able to access.
But the My Ride app on the other hand does not require any login code.
Other owners please let me know if any of you have found a solution for this Bluetooth connection problem.

yes, ktm my ride app is just a online user manual. We need to send an email to ktm and they'll send an confirmation back and then you can login. But this doesn't have any connection with the bluetooth issues. I'm still unable to connect my phone

Impulse with a karizma engine is a great bike, but the adventure 390 should be a great proposition .

Hi Abhishek,

I have not installed "KTM My Ride" app but I'm able to connect my phone with the bike (via normal blutooth pairing).

- Tried receiving/disconnecting the calls - Works fine.
- Dash shows the only number (not the Id) during calls.
- Have not tried music control yet (Only want to listen the rev sound during rides

).

I have OnePlus3 phone (Android 7.1.1)

Anyone here has an issue of the tft restarting when changing music or getting a call?? It's random.

I've clocked ~5k on the bike and recently saw the display switching off completely twice, wouldn't turn back on unless the power button was reset, has any one noticed it too?

I hope you guys have the updated TFT firmware version or you guys have updated your console firmware to the new 39 version if my memory serves me correct.

Guys, I'd recommend you guys, keep a tab on the issue that you guys are facing and provide these feedbacks to the KTM India. If you guys can replicate and record it, that'd come in very handy. Pretty much a bug inflicted console, to say the least. Though it can be unique to an individual, raising a collective alarm will gain KTM's attention and provide a solution if any for the TFT issue. If you guys have proactively updated the firmware and still facing random restarts and switch off of the console, it'd be a better idea let KTM know. Pretty much most KTM SVC personnel would give you back a blank stare, clueless as to what they can do with your TFT issues. The console does require more fine calibration than it currently is, through proper firmware and more testing to say the least.

bro, just curious.. how many bikes do you own????

sorry for OT, but yeah, it's not possible to replicate the issue, looks like a memory buffer overflow in the chip inside the TFT issue to me.. but I may be wrong.. this happens when we get a call/open music, doesn't matter if the bluetooth is switched on or off.. happens randomly... but certainly connected to the music app..

Just got a video on YouTube, and installed "ktm my ride connect " app
And now its working
Not getting the name, but alteast I'm getting the call notification
Will trying music sometime later.
