What speeds do you hear this noise..i can hear it from as low as about 20-25kmph.. trying to reach out to Michelin for this issue.. Lets see what they have to say about it..Originally posted by sdkiran View PostYes, u have to.. Unless tyre goes bust or u change it..

It's same here at lower speeds, At higher speeds u won't be able to as the wind and engine noise will mask it.Originally posted by kau8552 View PostWhat speeds do you hear this noise..i can hear it from as low as about 20-25kmph.. trying to reach out to Michelin for this issue.. As per my understanding, as the tire ages it will loose the tread depth which will increase the contact surface and also as the tyre ages the compound will harden more, so these will lead to more noise.Originally posted by sujithbvm View PostShouldn't the sound go down gradually as the tires age more?

Which are most puncture resistant? Mrfs, michelin pilot street or new metzeler s?
So far am impressed by grip as well as puncture resistance by new metz. Remembering my test ride of dominar, i remember being impressed by grip offered by mrfs. I doubt they would be puncture resistant. Mrfs tend to be fragile in my experience.

I think the Michelin PSR's takes the cake in these three.Originally posted by VaibhavPisal View PostWhich are most puncture resistant? Mrfs, michelin pilot street or new metzeler s?

Re: 2017 Duke 390 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Am currently using Michelin Pilot Street Radial 150/60 at the rear from around 10.5K kms which was on the stock Metzellers.
Font stock Metzeller lasted for around more than 24K kms(or maybe I just dragged it too much [emoji28][emoji28][emoji28]) so it's a Pirelli Angel CT at the front now.
If you looking for performance and tyre life both then would suggest to go with the most proved combination of stock Metzeller at the front and Michelin Pilot Street Radial at the rear.
For me am using my Duke 390 as one bike for all be it ride or daily office commute hence chose to go for Pirelli Angel CT and also wanted to find out how they perform.
And my feedback about them is like they are similar to MRF Revz or maybe a bit better I believe and it only costed me rs.2900/- for the stock size front. So the VFM is also good.
Next am planning to go for Timsun Tyres both front and rear at once.
Front would be TS823 110/70
Rear would be TS822 140/70
Two more months to go [emoji869][emoji869][emoji869]

Re: 2017 Duke 390 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hi All,
I'm planning for an upgrade this year and Duke 390 is on top of my list but I'm also considering going for seconds instead of buying new one (not a final decision still considering) and spend that money on small scooter for day to day commute . I see many 2017 models for sale at good prices my concern is regarding various software issues that were faced initially like "ECU failure" error and screen going blank which some users were facing . I have gone through the forum but I'm not able understand whether those are fixed with software updates or not ? Are the people who faced issues in 2017 model still have those issues ?
I heard that the issues were fixed in 2018 model.
Regards,
Mohan

Most of the issues are ironed out..i personally haven't encountered any much issues. Also the warranty for the first batch of 2017 D390's was extended for 3 years..so wont be an issue even if u encountered any problems, it shall be covered under warranty.
Hope this helps.
