What fe you guys getting in b2b traffic?. And have any of you guys ridden dominar before considering this bike? I have ridden dominar but not able to find test ride of the new dukes in Bangalore. Dominar was a bit viby, I was only able to start the bike(dukes) and rev a bit to get a idea about the vibes on the bike..

Haha, i thought the blank spot at 5.5k was a rev limiter thing and always shift gears at that point. Did anybody face that stalling issue? Rode in some miserable traffic yesterday and the only reason the bike was stalling was because i was letting go of the clutch too soon. Always started at first or second crank though.

I've stalled it a few times in Bangalore's amazing traffic, but I guess that's down to getting used to the clutch.

Hit 140 with a pillion rider and didnt face any kind of wobbling.

                and..

                Have some news to share.

I completed 1k a while back and had given it for the first service and for my bad luck the service personnel who took it out for test ride crashed it. The KTM service took full responsibility and replaced all the damaged parts and the bike is running smooth now. I shared this to let all the owners know that there is a risk of your bike getting damaged when you give it for service and the only thing I request from the service personnel is to take care of our bikes as we do, We buy the vehicle with such love and passion. Please be careful at all times.

One small info for the new buyers- The bike isnt quiet at all!! It sounds awesome after the bike crosses 6rpm.

                Cheers

Damn, that's sad to hear. Where did you get the bike serviced from?

Huge update guys - Just rode around after removing the ankle guard from the right peg using the allen key from the tool kit, and what a difference it makes! The vibes have reduced considerably. I Haven't had a ride this peaceful since ever. Now i have to look around for a set of soft washers and reinstall them. It would be great if the factory could do this while manufacturing.

That's a really frustrating thing to happen, make sure you check each and everything before you take back your bike.

Console F.C display issue: How many of you are having tghe issue where the FC for both Trip1 and Trip2 gets reset or stuck at 0.3 km/l. When i set it to 0 and then ride, it shows correct info, but when I kill the engine and restart, even with ignition on, it resets to 0.2. I know one other friend having the same issue!

I dont seem to have the 5.5k lag, only the lag at 3k off RPM. Let me try again!

That's unfortunate. Hope the damage wasnt too much!

Can you tell me what all info is available on the new console. all the guys online just hype about the new updated console but none seem to specify the actual features.

How is the performance after 110kmph, as in does it take time to reach the top wack or reaches without any issue. I'm asking this because saw a video on YouTube where the bike really struggles to pass the 115 mark and only after three tries he manages to reach the 130 mark (duke 250 review by bigbang biker)

                        @all
That guy has got a really long test ride of the bike but when I went for a test ride in the same showroom last week those guys said they haven't received the test ride bike yet[emoji35]

Ha! experienced the same thing. That Savant life fella literally rode out of the basement and had a great time with the bike, I was like so, you don't offer test rides? them: nope, RTO haven't registered the bike yet, we can let you rev the bike outside if you like.

The showrooms sure like people with go pros i suppose.

                            Hi All,
                            Am from Chennai.

I have booked Duke 250. This is my first bike.

Please provide your inputs that should be noted/observed when bike is delivered.

Please share any info on this bike (say the basic practice i should follow, tips for better maintainenance, wow factors, things I need to be more cautious about and so on).

I did not ride bikes in the past, have minimal knowledge. So what ever you share about Duke 250 will be of great help.

Seems like for test riding a bike in this era, we need to go with a GO PRO!
