[QUOTE=vgowtham97;1292767]Got my Duke 250 Last Friday..and this is my "First Bike"...Here are some of my initial expressions with the bike..( I am not tat much good in bike riding.. But these observations may help someone..)
      .
      1) Felt that Rear Break is Somewhat not good..Front one is good though

      2) Power Delivery is superb

      ....

      Congrats dude.

Has anyone put any thought on how to improve the front brake bite. Even though the brake is effective to stop the bike from any speed, I felt if the bite is more then it becomes much easier affair. I remember reading on Mojo thread that the bite can be improved if some master cylinder of the brake is changed to a superior one. I will try to inquire from the service center too once.

If you are looking for better brake bike, you can in fact try the EBC HH Sintered Brake pads. They do cost a bit, but they do offer good initial and progressive bite.

        Brand: EBC HH Sintered
        Model number: FA606HH

You can get this in India too.

        Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
        The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

        THE END

Even I'm gonna enter into the KTM family😝. Gave the documents in the morning and the loan got approved by evening 🙂, this is my first loan so cheers to the bajaj finance for quicker approval☺️. Im yet to pay even a rupee to the showroom. Bike would be delivered on Wednesday evening itseams😒, hard to wait that long.
Till then have to ride my old bike the mighty pulsar 220😂.
BTW I haven't even had a test ride of the dukes 😟, just going for it as I had no other option.
Guess the headlamps of the 250 are nowhere comparable to 220's.

Why didn't you test ride it?

That's unacceptable, what utter nonsense, so only these so called vloggers get to test ride it and not actual customers. I suggest you lodge a complaint with KTM. I would gladly do it if you want to. Which showroom did you go to?

Banashankari KTM, Langford KTM, bannarghatta KTM and Chandra layout KTM..

Above are the showrooms I visited and none offered test ride and finally booked in Chandra layout KTM. Out all these we can find YouTube video were banashankari KTM has offered test ride for 30mins.

Got the first service done. The bike revs more freely now. Also reinstalled the ankle guards with some rubber washers, it helps, but the bike feels better without them.

Ankle guards! I presume, you mean to say knuckle guards. Was it a direct if of the old Duke series?

                          Cheers!

No, I meant the extensions on top the pegs. I don't think the old Dukes have these.

Heel guards I presume? So, did you use it from the older series and was it a direct fit?

                              Cheers!

on the older dukes, it is not removable.. it is a single piece & part of the foot rest bracket.
