it might check the gap near swing arm .but dont upgrade the size. U will loose the flickability.

Can anyone shed light on bike from touring perspective? Like how did it perform during long rides as well as rider experience. Due to its sitting posture? Any other things noticed during touring?

                Great purchase.
Please develop the habit of wearing gloves everyday, being full leather you might find it difficult initially, but you will never ride without one, once you get used to it.

Thanks Dinesh, I actually never ride the bike without wearing gloves. This one is a soft leather and since it covers the wrist as well it feels more secure. Best part is the finger tips can be used on smartphone which comes handy. Grip on the handle bar is great as it slightly curves around it.

                      Hi Guys,

This is my first post in xbhp.

I bought new R15v3 in Chennai. My first and previous bike was FZ-S (2010 model). I was confused choosing between FZ-25 or R15v3 for my next bike. After a lot of considerations, I picked R15v3 just for the reason that I was not able to buy R15v1 back in 2010 due to budget constraints and also I wanted to try sports bike. I totally explored street bike (FZ-S) for 8 years with 75,000 kms odo.Click image for larger version

Coming back to R15v3, I choose this bike for its looks and upgraded engine with technology. One thing which bothered me was its ride height (I'm only 5'4 ) but still I bought this bike. R15v3 clocked 650 km till now and I feel this bike gives lot more confidence while riding, throttle response is good, has good control, many people complain that braking could have been better but i felt it is sufficient. Initial bite is okish but progression is good, maybe as this is my first sports bike I felt braking is good. Digital console is so cool that it gives lot more information except max top speed reached.

Down-shifting gears, engine braking are smooth now due to slipper clutch and no jerks while shifting down. Riding position is more committed and I have to get used to this bike as I'm using this bike for daily commute. I touched 105 kmph @ 7500rpm (VVA) in highway as it is mentioned in operation manual that we can ride till 7500rpm after 500 kms.

Looking forward to ride more after my 1st service !!

Congratulations Harish, for the realization of your dream. The buying decision seems logical and for sports bike, sometimes age might become a limiting factor.
                        Wishing you many more miles.

                        Ride safe.

Hello Guys, this is my first post via this account I am not new to xBhp I had an account of which I have lost access.

PAST: Coming from RTR180 (Sold), which unfortunately was not a very good experience had engine issues which weren't diagnosed within warranty

PESENT: Finally able to purchase the bike I always had a crush on the legendary R15v1 and with the V3 it just made me fall in love with it even more that already gem of a motor achieving new leaps and bounds

After selling my RTR180 I booked the R15v3 blue on 3rd July, with expected delivery being Mid-End Aug Well I thought 2months are gonna be like 2 years commuting to office via HH pleasure

BUT future was closer than what I had anticipated. On 18th morning I received a call from the dealership that they have a blue v3 in stock and my booking is next in the queue

Picked her up that very day Thanks to friends and family for helping me with impromptu arrangement of funds and also for accompany me to the dealership

                              Hello everyone
Took the delivery of my bike today
Earlier I had booked R3 ,but then many friends were against my decision, not because of any cons but for the intended usage i required.
At first I was upset but then I realised that R3s potential was more than what I required being a college student.
So I decided to for R15v3
Anyways while bringing the bike home from showroom 2-3 people enquired me about the bike and complimented ,at that moment I felt happy about the decision.
But then my next my next upgrade would always be a R3 when I start touring
                              Thanks[emoji16]

Guys.. could you please say about the plastic quality.. I've read in some reviews that the plastic is bend prone and the fit and finish is poor with uneven panel gaps
