I hope you didnt mean the brake pads. And does both the plates cost 1400 bucks?

Btw, Guys RTR met with an accident last friday when my brother's friend was having a ride on it. While he was trying to stop the front end gave up and skidded on loose gravels on a wet road. Front Visor has got a scratch(typical Apache's scar), the rear brake pedal has got twisted, the RHS Indicator(scratched), mirror(broken),front brake lever(scratched) and the silencer shield(scratched). The rear body panel has also got some scratches and it looks dirty now.

Boy's parents have agreed to bear the repair expenses.Thankfully the rider suffered minor bruises and yes he didnt blame the tyre!!

Oh man,its really heartbreaking to hear....and that too,when you your-self are not riding.I have had similar experiences in the past,where neither could i shout at my friend,nor can I resist my ill feeling for him(who has crashed my bike).....
Now one thing you can do,is put graphic stickers your bike....
And do post some pics,if possible

and feel good nothing happen to rider and he bear the
repair charges. please be gentle with him. when he will hear the price of spare of rtr he will sure be guilty why he ride it.

Spare prices are reasonable.

Final Bill came out to be 2470. Fairing couldnt be changed as it was not available.Forgot to mention even the RHS Crash guard was also broken which was replaced. Alignment was carried out which costed around 400 bucks.

AM SOOOOO HAPPPY TODAYYYY.....FINALLY I BOOKED MY RTR 180 (WHITE)...getting delivered on 3rd....they said white color has a long waiting queue ..

It is my first bike!!!!!!!!!!!! ....and my new love

Guys...please let me know the things which i should check before taking delivery...regarding the mud flaps...are they free or will i have to pay extra?

Am so excited!!!! days back i was dazed and confused! but finally...fell in love with the machine...phew!!!!! it is going to be a loooooooooong wait!!

The bike comes with everything stock. No need to pay for saree guard, pin stripes,mud flaps et all.

Today i gave my bike for 2nd servicing and the whole experience was very saddening...

i gave my bike to the svc guys aroung 9:15 am and was aked to pick it up at 4 pm. when i reached there at 4:00 pm i found that it was being washed and that it had not been serviced...so i asked them that i will pick her up at 6:30( the time i get off from my office)...reached there to find it standing in the corner washed...the guys were all packing up and leaving and the hurried mechanic said that since you wanted to have the oil changed in front of you we were waiting...

I noticed a visible scar on the visor over the headlamp and when i asked how did it get there the mechanic said "ho hi nahi sakta...bhaiya hm log bike ka bahut dhyan rakhte hain"... then they changed the engine oil( TVS True4 premium 10W30) and oil filter...there was no use in arguing over a scar....so i paid the bill and bought the TVS chain spray which cost 257.64 rs for 500ml bottle

and now is the really infuriating part....the clutch bar now has a scar that i felt as soon as i rode my bike....the rubber over the left handle has been torn a bit and the accelerator's extreme right has a large scratch with yellow paint on it...i think they bumped it to a yellow RTR...

These are the guys that are servicing the RTRs....they are not TVS trained...anyone can take a franchisee and hire some shitty mechanics... and they know nothing of the passion a person has for their bikes.. i have decided not to go to that svc again....

There is a service center in gomti nagar that opens on sundays and i will get it serviced next time there only...

P.S when i asked if i could get any other engine oil brand they said no that is not allowed and only TVS engine oil is allowed during free services...should i get the oil changed to Castrol power one after say 1000-1500 kms??

on last service SC guy checked it and now going to change Rs. 350/- For Each pair both Rs.700/- rest everything works fine getting good Fuel Efficiency of 40-42 km Per Ltr. Both City Ride And Highway Combo
Max Speed 132km & Normal City Ride

AFAIK that grade is not recommended for RTR180...
