Take it a little easy during the first few hundred km. Don't think the engine will get effected but it's better to hold on till the 1st service at least. More than the speedo, look at the tacho and try to remain below 4.5k rpm on all gears.Originally posted by preshu View Posti rode the bike today for 84kms and on the stretch i did a 75km/hr for 3-4 kms or so while i was not looking at the speedo...is this gonna affect my run-in period??

The gears will smoothen out. Just be gentle and patient

woah woah... take it a little easy bro. . wats the hurry. . do NOT stress the engine atleast till 800 kms. . . since its a quick bike u will feel like raising the throttle . . but keep ur hands steady. . let the engine parts have a set in ... let the bike get accustomed to ur kinda riding . . .then start ripping. . read the manual!
ride safe but!!!

thanks man....I m living with these tires for next 1000 kms...Originally posted by rennycornelius View Post^^^
Tires are not covered under warranty, and as the pic suggest, it has got only a cut, in the outer area only (area under TWI).
So its all safe.
no worries.HH Dawn - TVS Star City - Yamaha Gladiator - TVS RTR 180 - Honda CBR 250R - Yamaha R3
