Congrats for winning the POTM, JULIAN awarded.......
You get all our votes.

Today, the gear box was way too different than what it was previously. It was very hard than usual.
It reminded me of my relative's first gen TVS Suzuki Samurai! I had to literally give a thud mercilessly while up-shifting, which was pretty surprising!! Now, don't ever say welcome to TVS family.
I know the typical notchy gear box. Guess, it's time to get myself a pair of Army boots!!

Adjusting the clutch cable/play would solve it.Originally posted by Makky View PostRenny joins the band wagon too! hahaha

5W40 cost around M.R.P 795 Rs and XW50 at M.R.P 895 Rs. These are the prices in Chennai currently. You an also bargain and reduce some amount.Originally posted by chicane1879 View PostI wonder why there is such a wild variation in the prices of the oil around India.Other members were quoting 850-895 bucks for a can!!

This indicates more play than required in the clutch, this would also result in a banging noice when first will be gogged at the stationary bike.Originally posted by Makky View PostToday, the gear box was way too different than what it was previously. It was very hard than usual.

Tyres
i recently encountered a bad experience on my apache180... riding on a wet road at 50 something... n was braking cos of traffic in front... the bike started skidding and fishtailing lost control n luckily gained back control in the last few seconds of banging into the car in front. for now i'm quite alright but thoroughly unimpressed with my stock tyres... :| i dont wish to encounter the same problem again so pls suggest some tips to solve the handling issue n the grip issue...
*if tyre change is recommended... suggest which ones. (*for wet roads*).
