When are they going to launch CB Dazzler, any idea?

And how about Pirelli sports demon tyre, is it better than Zapper S?
Which other tyres are better than Zapper.. Any suggestion

        That's BS.

180 is not having one hell of a diff clutch design than the 160, that's making it create the probs and 160 is all smilin without it.

But, the new batch of 180s comin out have a new clutch design alongwith a DCI or DCU or something, which lasts good... Now, is this fact true?? Anyone else heard about this?
BTW, my clutch will be replaced by the new clutch, free of cost...
Same Pinch..!! My Clutch also faced the problem...and it is replaced free of cost...

Renny, Are you sure that there is no difference in the design of the clutch?

Majority of 180 owners are facing the problem with the one-way clutch. And it's high time that TVS comes with a recall program of sorts.

What could be the difference in the design of the clutch in both 160 and 180??
I dont think mere 20CC and 1.73 PS calls for designing an entirely new clutch design for the 180.
I believe it's having the same or slightly modified plates, that's it.

I hate those idiotic sc guys who wont do anything till you stand on their heads.
All they do is wash ur bike, lube here and there, blow a high pressure air to the filter, dont even see the marks at both the sides while tightning the chain, adjust the clutch in most pathetic manner, and whoa!!!!!
                  your bike is serviced.

I couldnt agree more. I think TVS really needs to up their after sales service, at least for enthusiasts like us, just like BAJAJ has done by establishing PROBIKING.

You can change your stock tyres to

                        Rear :100/80 - 17 Zapper S (Yamaha R15)
                        Front: 90/90 - 17 Zapper FS(Pulsar 220)

You can also go for Zapper Q on rear.

Next time be cautious while riding during rains. Some tips from my side:
-On wet roads, always expect the unexpected.Even the oil-spills would get disguised with the rain water and create havoc if you are not alert while riding.
-While taking a turn and during exit do not give abrupt acceleration as the tyre side walls in contact would not give you enough grip and the rear would slip out , as a result. And this applies to 180 more because of the presence of greater amount of low-end torque.
-Under hard/panic braking try to bring your weights to the front keeping all weights on the handle bar and brake accordingly depending on conditions.Do not ever put dab on the rear brakes abruptly.Proper modulation is required on both brakes

...But still there will always be difference under emergency/panic braking conditions. So try to follow the basics as much as possible. It might come in handy anytime.

May be or may be not.It depends on the discretion of the service center of TVS where you service your bike

No you cannot put a rear tyre in the front. The only good tyre that i know of in 110/80 17" in India is a one made by IRC. I cant say if its better than Zapper S because i have never used the IRC tyre. A guy in the 'tyres' thread has it. You can ask him.

                            Yes & No!

Every tyre has it's own tread marking, & on observing closely, u'll notice that every tyre used on front wheel has a straight tread mark on its center.
While the rear dosn't have it!!!

Its there to cut the water and provide stability to bike with other obvious reasons (which I kindly dont know! Heh heh). In short its important.

So if you swap your front tyre with R15s rear one, it wont be that useful.

Rather, i would suggest you to use the front tyre of Fz on your RTR, will glue you on road, like R15s rear tyre plus, it'll provide that added edge on loose gravel with no negetive's on its side.

And you know what, It has that center tread marking too!!! Paisa wasool.
