  • Can anyone tell me how many teeth rear and front sprocket does the RTR 180 have?
You can only ride better tomorrow if you ride safe today.

    • @abydance: xBhp promotes safe riding and expects its members to do the same. I am aghast at what you are planning and attitude! Totally unacceptable. If you want to race go to a track or be content in safe riding and touring.

If I get any report from any member of any posts which seems to promote dangerous riding on xBhp or any such plans then I am afraid we will have to infract you with a high number of points.

I tried to hear whether its coming from the front fairing or from the frame where the tank is placed and am very much sure its not the fairing. Any of you guys have experienced this thing after a full fill. Is something some where loose or fallen off. Guys please help me here.

The only way is to remove the tank and then rev the bike to see any possible loosening of bolts which could only be done in a svc.

Considering safety and request of all dear friends of XBHP, i denied any kind of race in city, and did only on highway which was much safer.
              Thanks.

              • Hey Guys thanks to all of you for suggestions. It was hard convincing that guy to drag race on highway, i strongly insisted on going SP ring road as it was much safer to race there than compare to city. Members over here also strong suggested not to race in city, so considering safety & suggestion of XBHP members i denied race in city. After few arguments that guy got convinced & we went to highway for a drag race.

With k&n filters on Pulsar 200 that guy was confident about winning the drag.
But proper shifting of gears and crouching made me win the race.

I will be posting the link to video soon.
                Thanks.

Good to know that you raced/dragged on an open road, and won it too.

                  Post the video soon

p200 has more power than rtr 180 around 1 bhp more
the difference is the rtr's well design gear ratios which they had maded years of research and try them on their tvs racing team bikes then they have develope thease gear ratios to deliver the best of engine power to wheel

Designing good gear ratios don't take years of research. Most racing teams do so over one weekend. Years of research should lead to something like the new fireblade. Now THAT's something that you can appreciate a company for doing. Don't get me wrong, TVS has done a good job with the rtrs, but it's not worth crediting years of research to when it's just on par with regular bikes all over the world. Much better than the rest of the indian crap though. 20 friggin CCs every 2 years. And now they're gonna come out with an ER-6n/f costing as much as litre-class SBKs elsewhere and people will still go gaga over it like they did the 250. How much longer are we gonna have to pay double the international price? Or stick to indian models with super-deluxe-pro-plus red stickers. Sorry for the rant, just frustrating looking at the progress the indian bike scene is making, which is either very little or too expensive.
