I don't have any of above things, i took care of not race in city so i took nearly an hour to convenience that guy and bring him on highway.
When approaching a corner, stay on the gas until you see Jesus. Then brake HARD.

      • I agree with Renny here. Riding a bike without a helmet is dumb, going racing with not even a helmet is inexcusable. This is what lands people in hospital as a "Vegetable" (aka "coma"), if they are lucky, otherwise they end as roadkill.

Wow, just wow... What does one say to that? Get yourself a decent helmet, and maybe you won't end up in the obituaries section of your local newspaper.

        • I seriously took into consideration not to race in risky place, and i agreed when he said yes to race on highway.

+1 to your post. The Indian bike scene will be a perfect case study for MBA institutes all over the world. The title should read: "How not to grow" or "How to go as slow as possible"!!

Kid, this is not a place for posers! Mind you, street racing is not tolerated here in xBhp. Sunny has already made it clear to you. I expected the moderators to see your posts long back. Somehow, they missed them I guess. xBhp inspires the rest by it's motto of "Safe riding". You being an xBhpian are painting it black!
What makes you think that highway is 'safe' for racing? How foolish!! A life is not worth a race!
You have an RTR worth around 75,000 INR. Why can't you get yourself a decent helmet, which costs 1,000 INR?

I never did anything that would make you think i am a Poser, what made you think that way?
IT was not a street race..........
Regarding helmet will buy one ASAP.

Don't get me wrong, TVS has done a good job with the rtrs, but it's not worth crediting years of research to when it's just on par with regular bikes all over the world. Much better than the rest of the indian crap though. 20 friggin CCs every 2 years. And now they're gonna come out with an ER-6n/f costing as much as litre-class SBKs elsewhere and people will still go gaga over it like they did the 250. How much longer are we gonna have to pay double the international price? Or stick to indian models with super-deluxe-pro-plus red stickers. Sorry for the rant, just frustrating looking at the progress the indian bike scene is making, which is either very little or too expensive.
Everybody is waiting for ONE Japanese manufacturers 2XX, the fate of the Indian Motorcyle market depends there.

Protectionism did bring out a commuterish culture in India, which was good purely from a industry point of view but bad from the culture it developed.
How I wish we get cheaper 400s and 600s and then Indian manufacturers would have some challenge to grow (or go Kaput)

PS: If progress = 200 to 400 CC class, then I can safely say that every bnig manufacturer has multiple bikes in this segment.

You said it. ZMA(HH) Started it but then again it got limited to the P220 only.

The 180 already hits 140 on the speedo as someone had posted a video. How much increase in speed can we expect in every rpm? It hits 54 kmph at 4k rpm 5th gear in stock. Can it hit something close to 64 kmph at the same with the rear sprocket change to 44T?

Possible but it would severely jeopardize the acceleration/roll-on timings.

Altering the sprocket should not be more than +/- 2 for the rear and +/- 1 for the front in case if you want the bike to perform well.

Im sticking to altering -2 for the rear. I am more of a tourer so i need a relaxed engine at high speeds. How much dent in acceleration will it put? I dont mind a little loss as i wont be racing anytime soon.

That would be tough to quantify but you need to do trial-and-error method to see which setup suits you the best.

No, it wont give you 10kmph advantage at the gear.
