My bike's drive chain is having enough slack i guess, may be a little more too.

A loose timing chain produces a low noise (it sometimes sounds like a faint horn sound from your bike) while accelerating (the noise will appear to be coming from the front, though). I have also found that this noise starts only after a certain rpm. If this is your case, get your timing chain adjusted from the SVC.
No, that's not the noise. Also, this sound i'm talking about is only during riding. Not when idle or, when revved in neutral or, not even when ridden downhill without any acceleration .

Can this be due to any gearbox problem?

      1) I thought this sound might be due to dry chain. Tried lubricating the chain but no help.
      2) This noise comes up only when i accelerate. I confirmed this by riding in downhill. No sound when not accelerated.
The moment i turn up the accelerator this sound shows up for first few secs (hmmm....may be after that too but i'm not hearing anything post that due to wind noise at speeds above that).

Anyone faced this issue? What it could be?
How much kms has the chain kit run bro? Coz I've seen many bikes with worn front/rear sprocket making the same noise when accelerating the bike.

Yep. Faced the same. Over and over. Check your chain for malformed links. I had a broken link while riding once. Was a miracle nothing happened to me.

And can you please tell me the speed at 4krpm and 7k rpm?
It was not a direct fit.But if you have those clips of pulsar ug3 15t,then you can fit it.I searched a lot for those clips but could not find them. Then my mechanic managed to mod the clips of CT100 which was lying around and fitted it.(By clips I meant those small thing you use to fit front sprocket)
I have to check the exact speeds. On 5th gear I suppose? And the speeds wont be accurate cause I am using a low profile tyre.

              Thanks mate.
I will check for any damaged chain link.
Normally how much is the life of a chain?

For open chain, normal life would be around 20k-30k with average maintenance and usage. Closed chain would be around 40k-50k under similair conditions.

Hey, hope you din sustain major injuries? Take care
The gear shifter may have gotten bent during the fall.. You might have to change it if its bent. Get it checked at svc.

Hey guys, hope all are doing well. Can someone pls help me out, for a good mobile holder for my rtr? Some of them I have tried from my friends but they do not fit the clip on handlebars of the rtr. I am thinking about going for short trips on my bike.

                      Thanks in advance.

Gear lever is not bent, the side stand became close to the gear lever and even the side stand is not bent. I have checked with other apache.

Hey andy. Try the rynox mobile phone holder. Attaching a mobile holder on our handlebars is a hard job as we have clipons & hardly 2 inches of the handlebar is open for fitment.

I have tried that as well, but unfortunately it does not fit clip on handlebars on our bikes. Its useful for long handlebars only.
