There must be contact or there is no reason for the disc to be hot.
Also after 5 years 2 months! In love with the Motorcycle from that day and I can't seem to move on!😍

Guy's!!! Ceat has also have 110/18 r17 profile tyre .just go through the Amazon link.
I always thought that only Mrf & tvs make these size tyres. People who don't like to oversize can buy this.
Mrf zapper c 110/80 17 are hard to find in open market. But Honda asc stocks those tyres for there dazzler and unicorn 160 , so no need to search more.

@Obe
"Still looking for tyres, zapper c unavailable, masseter unavailable. Dont want to go for remoras or michelins. Any help from Delhi members would be highly appreciated"
Look for mrf Zapper vyde, mrf mogrip, ceat secura zoom, the other day even saw tires from Apollo for bikes (not sure about the models and performance though).Last edited by ajextreme; 11-25-2017, 04:53 PM.Everybody has their own version of TRUTH!!!!!!

Re: TVS Apache RTR 180
All you would get is free flow exhaust which will be loud. Just for the sake of few kilos dont mess with your bike. You will need to re-jet the carb to compensate the flow from the exhaust. Moreover i haven't heard any after market exhausts/cans for bikes like rtr in the indian market except the free flow exhausts with exception to RE's and other bigger cc bikes.Originally posted by Siddhartha.S View PostGuys, i want to change the exhaust. How much will it cost (minimum) for a exhaust can? And which exhaust should I go for? I don't want it to be loud. My main aim here is weight reduction. Nothing else.
Any suggestions?
I agree the exhaust of rtr is heavy at around 8 kilos. Its heavy for some good reason only. And rtr is already quite light weight at 137 kgs. I am not sure from where this thought came across your mind.
Best option avoid this thought. Next best option see if any other bike's exhaust/can would be a direct fit (which i dont believe) and if it gives you any weight reduction benefits.
To save some weight maybe you can let go off the saree guards, bar end weights (not recommended), the crash guard (again not recommended), change clip ons to a single piece handle bar ( at the cost of the looks and sporty riding position) and RVM's(at your own risk). In the end, the weight saved doesnt really make any significant difference to the performance of the bike.Everybody has their own version of TRUTH!!!!!!

Re: TVS Apache RTR 180
Just a suggestion from someone who did this mistake to get "plug n play" egg-jhost from someone renowned and got a bill of 12k on engine rebuild.Originally posted by Siddhartha.S View PostGuys, i want to change the exhaust. Want to reduce kilos, get rid of headlight, saree guard, stands, tank shrouds, side body panels, but just dont screw your engine.
PS You can reduce your weight too (jk)Fare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world
