Thanks for your inputs,i think cleaning every 250-300 kms makes a lot difference to the sprocket life.

Also the Pipe(the pipe which runs from the fuel cock to the Carb) which is present on the Fuel Cock is slightly torn, should i get it replaced?

So I stopped and checked the i noticed that bolt which was used to drain oil was not in the place and all oil got spilled on road. And now my bike is giving strange noise first i thought it was due to tappet settings but local service engineer says that it has block piston issue and has to open the upper compartmentof engine... Should i proceed or should show first to tvs authorised service centre guys.

Note: plz suggest good service centre in pune

As your engine was running without oil for 40Kms it would have got seriously overheated and might have got some internal damages too. Please take it to Authorized SVC and also find the mech who did the oil change for you as he forgot to tighten the drain screw. Damages can be severe to moderate depending how long did you ride again after finding that drain screw missing. Ask them to check the engine thoroughly and replace whatever under warranty.

Yes get it replaced, it might crack and spill fuel on hot engine which is dangerous.

I think gear alignment is still issue,, he told me to come after 500kms. N didn't say anything about warranty. I'll ask him when I visit him again..

How did you return from that place when you realized that the bolt not in place and you lost all engine oil? Can an engine get started without engine oil?

I had to push my bike for 3-4 km then I found a local garage, he had that bolt. Then I topped up the oil n came to pune

the fuel pipe which runs from the fuel cock to the Carb has a metal clip lock, has anyone misplaced it?
i have misplaced it and i went to the TVS showroom asking them to replace my pipe (as it was damaged) and what they did was just fit another pipe without the metal clip,it seems they dont have the stock.Even the pipe which they fit looks very cheap and i am sure it is cheap quality. Anyone knows where to source this part? Also i need the Rubber casing for the gear lever(the one which is circled in the image) i need this part too.those TVS SVC idiots dont seem to have anything.

                      Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone has tried to use the Apache 200 sprockets on 180? Are they direct fit? what would be its effect on performance?

They don't fit. I am running many things from the 200 4V but the chain and sprockets aren't a fit.

Its really good, Have done more than 700 Kms in a day. The machine will give no problems. Only issues will be with your fatigue levels and bit of numb hands if you are just starting to tour due to the vibes, eventually you get used to it. odo stands at 47K after 2.5 years.

My bike is running race setup. So many things are different including carburetor, bore, custom ffe etc. It's quicker than a stock 200 4v
