    • Those black grab rails are looking lovely in white,BTW the RTR160 sports little greyish grab rails and these pics shows that RTR180 has jet black grab rails.

        • 12500kms Ownership Report

It's been 10 months of ownership and the Angel has covered close to 13000kms(7500+5300kms).Last week, the 5th Free service was carried out which happened to be the last free service of the bike. And it has been a wonderful journey so far.

Veedol Super Swift has worked wonders and the oil-change was already overdue as the bike had clocked over 4k kms running the same. Tried searching the Motul xW40 300v/5100T but ended in vain as i couldnt find them anywhere. So continued again with the same veedol.During the service, both the brakes bleeding was done.Yesterday while riding i was experiencing a pull from the handlebar under hard braking which indicates that the steering bearings have worn out. Will check it in next service.Probably the stoppies took its toll on the bike. (Mind you, it's been ripped day and night by two aggressive riders!! )

Now after 300kms of the service, the bike feels more peppier and revvier.Hit 88-89km/hr in 3rd gear where the bike was doing 10k rpm and it reached there much quicker than before.Even the top end rush has increased as the bike feels like it's breathing much better than before. Some vibrations have crept in the footpegs at 8k-9k rpm which is again not disconcerting but was not present before. The feel from the handlebars has remained similar, though.

Until now, the bike has been hassle-free(touchwood) and returns decent mileage as well.It varies from 35-45km/ltr depending on riding conditions.Keeping things below 5k rpm, also returns clsoe to 50km/ltr.What's worth mentioning is that the bike's engine is opening up really well and so is the performance.

The rear tyre has already lost 60-65% of its life and we were thinking of switching to 110-spec Zapper the moment it hits the open market. Both of us havent faced any problems with the tyre except during the rains where we are extra careful while ripping.

          Mileage:In city:35-40km/ltr(Ripping)
          Highway:~40kmpl(7k-8k rpm shifts)
          Mix of highway+City:42-43km/ltr(Ripping)
          Mix of highway+City:Over 45km/ltr(Sane riding i.e within 6k rpm)

PS:All pics clicked by my brother except for the first one and the last which is taken by me.

have you changed any parts or it is stock one with 12000km

i think you have done some burnouts thats why the tyre is gone to early
i can see that in you pic how it is only on 12000
other wise these tyre last more than 25000

r1 tyre gose only on 10000

Beautiful first pic, the bike looks lovely.
              13K's in 10 months!!!
My bike is close to two years old now, and my odo shows 9400.

Bleeding was done pretty early, were the brakes too spongy??
And dont forget to relace the fork oil after 3000kms,as they are taking quite a beating with your stoppies as mentioned by you.

Are you into too much of a burnouts, and where is the smoking RTR180 pic then??
The centre area of the tyre has gone out completely .

And very good avg figures you're getting man, too good for a 180CC machine, that too carbed.
My bike drops to 35kmpl when ridden hard.

              PS:
              keep the pics flowing.

Those are RTR's rear pics in orkut.

But I couldn't figure out what those pics were for? It seems pics are pointing to some sort of different tyre on RTR 180.
