Eg. 20W40
The first number followed by the W is the winter or cold start SAE viscosity. The second number is the viscosity under normal running temperature.
For our weather we only need look at the last two digits.

I have heard somewhere that the grade gives us the information at which temperature bracket it can retain its properties.that is after the maximum temperature its looses its properties and the oil density also decreases!

it's 5600+ On ODO will go fully synthetic after let's say 8000K
now going for Castrol Power 1 for now or veedol if i get it here in mumbai goregaon 2mrw, will tell u the performance after some time
Anybody Using Pipercross Air filters? i know that they don't make filters for TVS but anybody tried modification? K&N is just normal any guy come with model no. RC-1060 so no interest anymore.

Stay away from performance filters. They do more harm than good. Also don't change the tyres unless you are uncomfortable with them.Comment

can is still with me and bike also

they'll tell u where in your area u'll get that oil
and if it's not there then they will place an order and deliver to your nearest dealer
