    second service

    @chicane
    My bike has covered 2400 Kms...
    The service light is not glowing still..

    When shall i leave it for second service..???

      The people in service station told me that the issue will be fixed when they clean the carb .. the bike was ok for one day the same problem started again after one day .......
      Even my bike had the same problem, the svc people opened up the carb and cleaned including the jets.The problem vanished thereafter.Also clean the spark plugs.Also ask them to tune the bike accordingly.

      Renny can you please tell me the current cost of FI and 160 in your area ?.

      And how do you compare its performance with 180 ? .
      Any comment chicane ( Swagat ) on this ? .

      180 costed us Rs.70,400.But the currently it is being sold at Rs.71,200 out here in Bhubaneshwar.

      Fi has awesome top end and has superb pull even after 9k rpm whereas 180 has brilliant low end torque and mid range.We did have a drag race against a Fi and the 180 stays way ahead. But the 180 doesnt have the top end thrust like the Fi, but that doesnt mean its slower.It's no use revving the 180 beyond 9k rpm.

        Not sure but I hope so. What else can be do when we've already purchased it ...
        I'm strongly considering to replace the gear shifting bar we have below our right leg with the ones found on bikes like splendor so that I can atleast push it hard backside and i don't have to stress my fingers. Do you guys think its feasible or even possible? I guess everybody knows that pushing is easier than pulling....

          RTR 180 costed me 78k on road including vat life tax etc. I think I paid too much but its the same anywhere in hyderabad. I think you guys are missing something, generally the prices are cheaper here, not sure about tvs tho.

              i bought my FI for 76850 here in INDORE...one year back, no idea of current prices
              no idea of 160 though it's around 8 grand cheaper...

              i'll strongly suggest you to go for the 180 cuz it gives you advantage to play with the settings....

                  Can we use Synthetic oil for india made 180cc bikes ... the grade on our manuall is 20- 40 but synthetic oil start with 0 to 50 and so on ....

                  If we can use synthetic oil which one is the best to use ...

                          0-60kmph

                          Now i have one more silly question about the 0-60kmph timer..

                          One of my orkut friends has something to say about this.Now according to his theory: Dump the clutch at higher rpms (4-5k) in second gear directly and run till the speedo hits 60kmph mark.This will improve the timing and it'll be under 4 sec.

                          When i tried the same i clocked 4.8 sec which is way more than the traditional way! And even after doing this i felt how fool is he and how fool am i to believe in him and apply the same!
                          Now he simply refuses to believe me..Any suggestions on this?

                              my fiero misfire while instaling the air diaphram spring .when i remove the spring from it i will running without any problem.what can i do for this,shall i peremently remove that spring.pls see the pic and help me
