            • hi all...just updating that i have covered my bikes' running-in yesterday. the bike is going good. the right side heaviness has somewhat reduced or maybe i have got used to it. still i feel it sometimes.
getting an average of 50kmpl (best 52kmpl) while riding between 55-60kmph. just loosing air-pressure in both front & rear tires, dunno why? loosing 2-3psi in a span of 3-4 days! hiccups are being felt. ignoring false-shifts.
thinking of going for a short ride this weekend.

guys - could any body guide me as to where i could source from "xbhp" stickers & i wanna buy riding gears. so where in mumbai?

Just ride as one needs to ride during rains. Simple!!
Read my post carefully. Ultimate aim is running crank shaft faster than starter, when it comes to life. If you set idling RPM higher(as specified), it is automatically achieved. else you should slightly blip throttle while start-up. Also, it cannot be said that reasons you said are exactly correct.

just want to make sure after switch to fully synthetic
can we shift back to semi synthetic again?

In mumbai their are lot may stores for riding gear
i think if you are running on budget then go for cramster, DSG or else alpinestars, AXO, Fox Racing, etc. do check their web sites and yes they are holding official store in mumbai (or dealer) so no need to import (they will do it for you) do check the "cramster" they are holding some really good stuff out there.

                      • i don't think removing chain is ever a good idea :P just put middle stand n put the bike in neutral and rotate the wheels n spray it... that's what i do with chain spray...

My bike glanced at me with delusion when i asked it a question about 'it's' gender and it quoted "I can ask you the same about your orientation

                        • ok guys , i think i have the One way clutch problem coz my bike is suddenly stopping with a bang(huge sound) ... the frequency of this is increasing. i have just one month left in warrenty period.
now , how will i explain the problem to the Mech at TVS . im sure he would not understand one way clutch . any suggestions.

OK, for a moment let's assume what i have claimed is completely false.

Can you just explain why only the 180 is facing with this problem. If idling RPM would have been the culprit then why none of the other bikes(having electric starters) have ever reported this problem including the ones from TVS?

Dude, the warranty period is for 2 years or 40000kms, whichever is earlier. Don't worry. Dont explain it to mechanic, explain it to some senior service personnel.

I dont know why but i have seen many of the RTR owners unaware of the exact warranty period.

about the rear disk brake i checked the level below the Cover Frame R....the color of the container led me to believe that there was no brake fluid but when i opened it i found that it was full......it took me a while to get the cap back on the container....
