My friend had a bad experience after installing it in pulsar , after 1 year he had to change his piston crankshaft stuffs which nearly cost him 10 k to make it run like a stock new. I don want to risk my rtr with it. So im seeking experienced advice to have it or not. As i really like the throttle crisp , smoothness and its tone but afraid of spoiling my bike .

You answered your own question! if you want to keep the bike for long, STOCK is the answer!

None of the above. Its personal preference. But the performance gain is negligible when using after-market filters!

            • Guys, our fellow apachian drifty had replaced the stock apache air filter with a air filter of gs150r... he posted about it in this thread, but i'm not able to find that post, can some one please guide me to it
I tried searching but could not find it.

@Drifty, would also like to know if you are still running on it and how you feel about it after long term use?
I guess we have to make changes to the AFR mixtures after installing it, right?

BTW,most important thing, the throttle response is much much crispier with this filter!!!
