        Hii frnds...
M very new member of xbhp . But was reading d post from a year.. Always like n satisfied with d post made by stunty u sharma..

My rtr is 2 years old n has run 11k.
Top speed achived was 128.. Reached 100 only 5 times jus cos i enjoy riding peace.. N m never in hurry.
Before i buy my bike many said me abt vibes n low engine quality all this stuffs bt frankly vibes r hardly felt if u shifing gears at right time..
Engine quality ??? I never face problems with it even a single time its still as new.. I service it every 2k kms..
Milage is 40-42 pl i use speed petrol from day 1..
I nevr felt like adding any thing more to my bike as it had it already..
Tvs tyres e nit d best i shifted to mrf zapper which gives me more confidence to lean in sharp edges n better braking as no slides as tvs tyres..
        There are -ves too
Only problem for me is pillon seating.. Its not comfy as it should be ..

Regarding pillion seat, try using another foam padding.

          • Hey guys,
Need some advice very badly. Got my RTR-ABS serviced last week at 12200kms. soon after that I am facing some wierd issues.
            1. The bike jerks when deaccelerated for the first 5-10 kms. Feels as if the fuel supply is cut off.
            2. In top gears (5th gear) at rpm's >5000, it feels as if the bike is still in 4th gear.
            3. The (silencer)exhaust end is showing some oil kind of stuff. Previously it used to be completely dry. Even washed the same with bit of diesel, but that thing seems to come again.

Any idea what may be causing this? I dont know what those guys at SVC did before the bike din't have any issues.

FYI. I am running on Shell FS.10W40.

            Kindly shed some light.

Check your oil level. Also, take out the spark plug and see if its oily. If so, then you have a busted piston ring (at the minimum). Take it straight to the SVC and have it checked.

Why'd you stop stunting? Can you tell me at what speeds do you brake for stopping stoppie and also for rolling stoppie? I am thinking of the R15 v1 front tyre as I think it has better grip and since it's 80-90 so stoppie will be easier. What do you think?

                      Motul 300 V Factory Line 4T 15W50

If not this, which is the recommended synthetic oil. Please suggest only Motul oils, thanks.
Motul 300v has evaporating problem. Go for Motul 7100 10W40 synthetic

                      Michellin don't know
You can try MRF Zapper FS 90/90-17 for front
& MRF Zapper Vyde 120/80-17 for rear(it's not 110/80 but I think it will be ok)

It happens almost every alternate time the bike starts during this noise the speedo meter turns off n again on.. This all happens only within some 3seconds.. Is this serious problem?? First, check the spark plug tip as suggested earlier.Black soot on the spark plugs suggests that the fuel/air mixture is too rich,A shiny, wet, black film on the plugs is a result of excess oil, and this causes blue smoke.Check for the above two possibilities. Also get the carb setting s checked.
Piston rings may be worn out, hence because of the decreased compression, the power loss is felt.

It may be the case of damaged one way clutch. If your bike is under warranty they will replace it free of cost.Rectify it from SVC asap.
