Even i get that loud thud when i hit a sharp bump on the road.. maybe because of the hard setting of our suspension

Recommended air pressure is 25F, 28R for single and 25F, 32R for doubles.

Oh my bad will correct the air pressure as soon as possible.isnt the values on lower side ? ;-) i do weigh high 90kgs

i contacted one local mechanic who lives in flat opposite side to mine and he test drove for quite a while and came and said that the front jumpers are gone. he said he cant tell how much it will cost as he needs to open the system and see what components need to be replaced.

That s what TVS recommends, but I suggest 32 & 36 for solo and doubles, which is widely practiced.

If you set it for 28 you will be complaining about center stand kissing humps
Get suggestion from SVC guys , they know better.
Front fork oil level also need s to be checked.
And this is a common prob in RTR , check your keychain for any metal/solid parts which might cause the sound as well

This is the reason of this issue

I too had this problem and it was very annoying. Got it replaced from SVC under warranty and the problem is solved to a great extent.

Oh now I know why I complain about it
Anyways don't you think 32F, 36R is too much. If I fill 32 in rear, I can't control the bike as it skids everytime I use rear brake.

@shiwaan can you do me a favour?
Can you check the price of Zapper Vyde [120/80-17] from your nearest MRF dealer?
              Also, is pirelli available there?

                • Happened to be the lucky winner of TVS Motor company contest on Facebook and won myself This last month

It happens to be my second bike next to the CBR and my initial impressions of the bike are
                  1) Maintaining 50kmph on this one is insanely difficult, the bike wants to be revved beyond 5k rpm at all times.
I find myself frequently shifting at 5k and its very annoying to do so.
                  2) The brake pedal is a bit too low for me. Gotta adjust the height soon.
                  3) The workshop people parked the bike on a 45degree slope for me to pickup. And even though i was in first gear, the bike had to be revved all the way to 5-6k rpm just to start moving off the line
was pretty embarassing because there were a lot of people staring at me on the new bike
                  4) The suspension is good for what it offers but felt it couldve been softer. I could feel the potholes all over the road.
                  5) The bike sounds awesome even though not as loud as the CBR but has a bassy effect. Personally i am not the type of a guy to crib or drool over a bike's exhaust but it is catchy il give it that
                  6) The bike has a few scratches i didnt notice while picking up since it was a bit too dark there and tubelights hid those patches on the WHite RTR. Il get it sorted soon.
                  7) For my bulky frame, the seat is a bit uncomfortable and im not sure if its the padding or the seat layout itself. Maybe il get used to it.
                  8) The riding posture switch from CBR to RTR was a bit uncomfortable.
                  9) Brakes (ABS) work pretty good. Not as Punchy as the CBR's but does its job well and good. I need to fix that pedal soon
                  Nonetheless the Bike is awesome.

P.S: Upon reaching home after 4kms, i get this burning smell from the bike as if the electrical wires are on fire :/ is it normal?

I got it fixed after filling up front forks oil.
Anyways next time it happens one more thing to checklist to check for.

Not front & rear , wrt to singles and doubles for rear.
If you ride single most of the time 28 is fine.
For front 26 is perfect, if its increased you will feel all the potholes even the tiniest ones.

That smell is normal for a new bike. The engine internals are starting to set in

P.S. Try to replace oil & filter @ 250kms (yup, before the first service). Would help to clear out the metal residue pretty well.
The Apache is ever willing to red line each cog, but the Rider ain't. Enjoy RTR, Safely. Period.

bro i had learnt stoppi and rolling stoppi on stock ones but its too dangerous. then i have always used mrf zapper fs 90-90-17 front with which i easily could do 30-35 metres rolling stoppi. But now i have stopped stunting since 3 months.
