Tyre change

Hi,

My RTR 180 has crossed 20k and am planning of changing the tires.
Can anyone suggest which tyre is good.?
Please help.

Guys, the radiumish, glow in the dark thing on my rtr is broken, is it possible to source it from anywhere?
The cost of the entire set is 1k... im already spending about 9k on other repairs, so want to look for a cheaper alternative here

And, also can anyone tell me the resale value of a RTR 180 With 22k kms on odo and 20 months of purchase with all documents available

If this is the one around the key hole then well you dont get it seperately.You get it along with the keyset which costs around 850 bucks.

Mine broke too when a colleague put my bike down.After scouting around for a year,one of the service centre guys in pune replaced it for 16 bucks. Tough luck finding it likewise though.

Too much arguments on "RTR 180 thread"

Anyways my bike has crossed 21K kms and timing chain is causing lot of noise (as per mechanic), will go for regular Servicing in few days. Any idea how much the timing chain would cost??

Its around 400 bucks

as my 26 month,30k+ bike is readily fetching 50000 in resale market,yours would be around 55k i guess....

today seems to be a very eventful day in this thread!! lots of interesting replies in the thread!! anyways wont get into comparing r15 and rtr 180! to each, his own!

anyways today completed 2 years with my ride! she's been a beauty throughout and always gave me a grin whenever i took her out!! hope our relation continues the same way and hopefully many more miles to come!

Edit: There was a new mrp sticker on it, looks like the old price was 17 and the new one is Rs. 18/- Also it's called the 'Illuminationring' [sic].

This obviously requires taking out the whole tail lamp section. Can it be seldom done or requires experienced hands? And one more thing, the rear-fender is slightly misaligned in my bike. Any solution for that one too...

Not just you guys. Even me, and all RTR owners. AFAIK, every RTR's(atleast 180's) rear fender is mis-aligned.
