Completed 13000kms on my Apache7305. She is behaving just like the Duc GP machines; front-end problem!
High-speed cornering is not at all confidence inspiring.
There is a metal-metal/glass-glass collision-like noise from the front-end at times. Looks like a cone-set issue, anyone?!
PS: @Drifty: JP, do you mean Julian Paul? Shame that he is out since the bloke was good in technical aspects. I have learnt a thing or two from him.

Although I am not that into electrical but the HID that is used is this.Originally posted by harishmenace View PostAFAIK p220 projector is single beam one, what have you put for high beam
Will post the pic soon of the HID when I will get it changed to DC
Anyways anyone using Slime in the tyres? Last week had 2 punctures in the front and 1 at the rear within a span of 3 hours. All because of 2 tiny nails and one staple pin.
Although the tyres are now 20k kms old, I think its time to go for new onesLast edited by prateek2210; 11-07-2011, 12:13 PM.Fare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world

Yes The Light Part is converted to DC.The Guy did it in just 5 mins ..Originally posted by pranav_salieri View Post@ Rak-is your bike converted to DC now??
,
@prateek, I dint mean to be rude or anything but i had posted the query 2 times... from past 3-4 days and no one had replied so just said.. anyway,
A brief review of my lamps:
If u want to sacrifice lil brightness /visibility of the road then u can go for These hid lamps,(less expensive ones) cos the visibility is very much less than a halogen... maybe if we spend lot of money , we can get a proper bright HID
And One more important thing,
They will remove the glass by heating it up and while inserting it back, if they dont put the Seal back moisture will start going in and the glass will get foggy! ( Annoying) ... i went the second time to get it corrected.. since he had not put any seal for the first time!
@Drifty Thanks!
And yes thats a helmet lock on the right side..
And about that alignment of the angel eyes, when i told him he told this is how it will fit properly.. so i dint care much anyway it wont matter much in the night i guess...
BTW i got this done in Shree Scooter House in JC road.
The mechanic(name: Aman) is very good but he takes hell lot of cash for any fitting!
But i guess there is no other way!Last edited by rak2410; 11-07-2011, 03:33 PM.
