@ranjith-what did he say about the R15 then..can a fully tuned fz smoke a r15???? if it cant then technically r15 has better acceleration than the RTR180......just saying..

BLACK is the filters' OWN color bro It ain't became black because of the dirt/dust Dust is actually the 'soil' colored patches you can see there, just like the inside base of the filters visible in the last pic.

new one costs around 150 approx . you can clean it with kerosene and lube with a small packet of 2t oil [rs12only]. And yea first i thought there was some serious problem seeing it so black ...Anyway there is no loss in power so i guess its proper..! And also i think the SVC guys clean the air filter for all general services rite?

i was talking abt a mile drag bro actually a guy here has the daytona kit on his fz and he beats the hell out of a 160 apache and gives a good competion to the 180 too but when it comes to r15 he just stays ahead of it till the r15 is in its 3rd gear 6k rpm....after tht whoohaa...!!Originally posted by pranav_salieri View PostComment

checked all but there were no empty sides of the tubes and yes i tried the setup by removin 1 pipe at a time but in tht case bike starts misfiring and chokes at 9k rpm......?Originally posted by psr View Post

And finally couldnt do upjetting on rtr 160 ...tried all jet sizes from 115 , 118 , 125...but the bike chokes on each of them at 8 rpm....Just one ques do i need to retune the carb after changing jet size...

1 more serious problem has arised can anyone help me with this....
i recently got the big bore kit installed on my bike...i have run 390 kms on it....and today suddenly funny noises have started to come from the engine head the sound is like.....some ::CHIUN CHIUM CHIUM CHOON:: and it changes to ::GHSS GHSS GHSS GHMM :: after3k rpm i contacted the svc guy he said get the tappet set once i go for the service to him after 500 kmsComment

@ranjith- r15 stock 0-100 in 11 or 12 seconds?? i must be wrong then about the RTR 180 acceleration.....i think it is slower than r15 when it comes to acceleration..
utkarsh-so a stock r15 can beat a fz dayatona and RTR180 cant....Comment
