Get it done from the SVC, at least if something goes wrong you can hold them. It wont effect the mileage but do ask them to set the AFR perfectlyOriginally posted by Krish1417 View PostFare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world

Thos are H4 bulbs if I am right like theseOriginally posted by Raja Saiyan View PostI hav a doubt I hav d angel eye and I saw this bulb o youtube which is yellow while in low beam and when kept on high beam it is bright white what is that bulb name ?
BTW you have not blackened the reflector. Any specific reason why? IMO using just the reflector in projector/angel eye diminishes the throw as it scatters itself inside the assembly even before coming outFare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world

I don't hav HID so my stock bulb won't be able to give enough light and when I asked about HID people said I will have to apply for new RC book with changes about bulb
is this H4 bulb a direct fit ?? I think FI is AC headlamp will it work ??sigpic

Nothing like that buddy, no changes needs to be done. Its like we are getting new spectacles and we have to apply for new voter cardOriginally posted by Raja Saiyan View PostI don't hav HID so my stock bulb won't be able to give enough light and when I asked about HID people said I will have to apply for new RC book with changes about bulb
HID drains a lot of battery, it will fit but you cant use it continuously , you have to get it DC firstOriginally posted by Raja Saiyan View Postis this H4 bulb a direct fit ?? I think FI is AC headlamp will it work ??Fare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world

You had suggested a member earlier for carb cleaning as he gets hiccups.Shouls i ask my friend for clening too ?Originally posted by prateek2210 View PostOnly thing that comes to my mind is TPS issue.
Has the break pads been changed recently or when it was changed. Check whether they have been installed correctly...If yes check whether there is air bubbles.
Try to get the color code of TVS matt grey, go to a good painter and get the parts painted.
He hasn't change the brake pad
Where can i get the color code?If you know please do share.
@prateek and krish- Carb cleaning at 8k odd kms.Are you guys sure?
Thank you

It will scatter itself inside the assembly even before it comes out, that's what I thinkOriginally posted by Raja Saiyan View Postwithout reflector won't d light be narrow and not wide??
@ceebeer : Check the brake pads , I guess that is the culprit. Coming to you friend's bike's hiccups, if you can just give me an idea, what is the problem?
Yes why not for carb cleaning? Who knows the first petrol that you filled in your tank is adulterated or have some impuritiesLast edited by prateek2210; 04-12-2012, 12:39 AM.Fare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world

Thanks for the info buddy.Originally posted by prateek2210 View Postshiwaan He can answer this , as he is using Philips bulb in his RTR
@prateek did you convert to complete dc for applying those changes??
No its still AC with two small DC Convertors to hold the battery little longer. Next on the list is the DC Conversion and Free Flow
Also one small doubt. Actually the headlamp lights diminish pretty badly when I apply brakes or when not accelerated. AFAIK it has to be because of battery issue. But I had recently charged the battery but the issue is still there. Its the stock battery & it has crossed 1.4 years precisely. I said about this issue in SVC and those guys are telling it is natural and nothing wrong with battery
. This issue was not there when the bike was brand new. So it has to be because of battery is what I believe. Also I checked with a local mechanic and what he said is change the bulb & its not the issue of battery as he is the one who charged the battery for me.
Now I'm really confused. Even if I change the bulb will it be helpful if its not the case of bulb worn out.
Also can it be the case of spark plug/ throttle cable not supplying enough spark
Guys spread some gyan

ONB costs 900 and Philips 700, these were the rates when I checked last. these bulls are not worth there cost. They don't provide significant improvement over normal 55w bulb which cost 70rs . Yes they cause more hear than our stick bulbs, don't go for these bulbs without full DC conversion not some juggad. Without that they will not give you the desired output and burden the engine too.Originally posted by susheelkumar View PostHi Guys..Has anybody tried Osram Night Breaker or Philips Xtreme Power in the bikes. Is it direct fit and do we need to convert to complete DC for the change?
Any idea how much those bulbs cost?
Also will it cause any overheat ?

I think in that case its better to stick with the stocks.
Anyway I have already posted a query regarding the issues I'm facing in the stock headlamps. After I get reply on that I will decide what to do.---------------------------------------------------------------------------
