No,its not the A/F screw. That screw is just to hold that small shaft which supports the float and needle jet.

Dude I have already adviced you the same here...
Also check the spark plug gap.Replace it if out of specifications, dont adjust the gap.Its a good practice to change the spark plugs every 10k kms.
You are worried too much about it buddy.Cleaning the carb will not make great effect on the mileage as long as you dont mess with the A/F screw!

    • @susheelkumar : As yours is also AC, diminishing of light w.r.t to acceleration is common. But it should not be very low. If its very low, then these can be the issue
      1) Bulb - Although 1.4years is still less, but who knows, after all its a man-made thing. Get some other RTR's bulb to check.
      2) Battery - Sometimes just cleaning off the poles helps. Is the water level ok in the battery. Try using some other battery just to make sure.
      3) Wiring/RR Unit - Although it should not happen so early, but this should be your last option.

OOPs!Forgot to reply on this.Anyways,do you feel the brakes spongy?Or have you replaced the fluid anytime in these 2 yrs?May be you need to get the brake bleeding done! This time try Castrol DOT4 brake fluid, the braking efficiency will improve for sure.I am currently using DOT4 fluid on both the brakes..amazing experience.

Yes, the brakes are weak now and its normal when my bike rolls out of the SVC. Probably, its because of the polish or some liquid in the area. As it dries out, it gets better. I will wait till that point and see.
Yes, I haven't changed the brake fluid. Its only top-up during the services, I guess. BTW, would this air bubble be hazardous?

Thanks, abhishekch. Wish you the same.

He was told by a Shell worker that VSX is a scooter oil :\ Though my mind doesn't allow me to believe that guy as he works only on a Shell Petrol Bunk. From your side I got the answer a week back I guess Just want to get it confirmed from some other guy too if possible.

The new/fresh packs of AX7 is printed 337 INR.The shopkeeper didn't had any fresh stocks, said that he will get it next time.So i had no option, but to buy an old pack.He assured me it is the same oil i was looking for and i even saw it in the Shell old and new catalogue
