Thanx, I too hope it is for the full range as im still not taking it beyond 4k. just waiting to complete 1000kms, so that i can test it on higher ranges.
Ppl were staring at the signals but not quite like the R15 of my cousin (sure is a eye catcher even today)
Couple of my friends even said that the white can be mistaken for traffic police bike!!

Bang your head, while standing opposite/close to a wall, speed @2-3kmph? Hurts?
Increase your speed & watch the fun, when someone falls from a Motorcycle, unfortunately he can't choose which way to fall best & hurt himself less.

Exactly... I was actually surprised at the amount of vibes my RTR 160 was giving out above 4500k ! Below that it is silky smooth ! Almost like a Unicorn !

I had a test ride today, good enough distance but not much speed because of traffic.
And I could really feel the vibes in this bike, at least, more than RTR FI.
Otherwise bike was good, good power, composure and even with an out of proportion pillion it was running just fine.

The other thing which I noticed was the difficulty to find 'N' in gears .. couldn't get it right even once.

PS: Where did you get the Helmet from. Is it custom painted?

I wonder if the company guys have given me some special bike! Mine seems to have none of the problems you mention!

May be contrary, that bike may not be that refined as it was a test bike or I just tried higher RPM range .. I did go beyond 5k ..
but I did feel vibes more than FI, can't comment about the RTR 160

You did not get any special bikes .. other test ride reports on http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/809...unched-12.html confirms that it has no/fewer vibes.

The helmet looks really good ..

Hey is there any premium for the Pearl white? Just like it was for the Yellow?

No .. 73,607/- is what Meghdooth TVS here quoted for all the colors.

Nope,no premium. 73,500 bucks flat at Bridgestone TVS for all colours including yellow, but yellow has not yet arrived and is expected in a month or so. Actually Bharath TVS,Jayanagar qoted a price of 73,300 bucks, but they hadn't received the stock and were going to start deliveries in about a month, and I had no patience to wait!

How much was that for? In any case Balaji has got a reputation of not giving any discount while Megha enterprise 2-3 shops on the same road seem to always quote better prices. No idea about this helmet though.

                              Day 3 review

Today I had taken the bike for a long ride on the highway, it feels very light and nimble. The tires are pretty good even on muddy roads. Shocks also did their job well, all the minor bumps could not even be felt. Fuel efficiency seems decent till now (one bar of the fuel level indicator has been consumed for 200kms). The power can be felt in all gears, so no need of changing gears quite often except in slow moving traffic.

                              P.S:Some more pictures...

Thanks for info about shock.. Shocks may be more softer due to longer swirgarm.. Is the seats are harder, semi-hard or softer?
