      man the primary specification of rtr is not cc,,, not power
      but VIBRATIONS

      i think they would be there in the upper rpm range
      one xbhpian test rode it and told vibrations is worse than his 160

      but lets hope for the best

          Congratulations dude. The white is simply stunning. The Rebel equally so. How much did it set you back by ?

            Ok guys.A lot of people are not gonna expect this but I did a full run on 2 different 180s .Mines done 200 KMs so far.Not yet registered =P[Felony Felony]
            Top Speeds 131.Cud push it a little more.ran out of space =P
            [Top speed run was done on a black test drive apache :P]
            Throttle response is pretty sweet.
            Gearbox isnt the best,but it'll do.I'm sure most owners of the FI know how fragile the gearbox actually is.
            Tyres aren't the best again.It sucks in rainy conditions.Just drove in the rain today. @___@.
            Handlings top notch. Pickup is amazing.Cold start problems are amazing too :P
            Brakings pretty good again =]
            Friggin love the bike =D

            Can somebody elaborate on the vibe part,cause on the one I test drove , I couldn't feel much vibes...only prob it had at high revs was some sort of stability thing..I wouldn't really let that pass as vibrations ...

                    thanks for informing bro

                    let them pounce

                    i would prefer what an rtr 160 guy says then what a person running a refined engine says
                    he certainly wont be able to compare vibs of 160 and 180

                          Increase your speed & watch the fun, when someone falls from a Motorcycle,unfortunately he can't choose which way to fall best & hurt himself less.

                            The seats are comfy and soft enough. Even the pillion riders had no complaints about the seats
                            Well i cannot relate it with the 160 as i have not ridden it.
                            @Sathya:
                            it rained cats and dogs the same evening i took the delivery of my bike, and i didnt have any scary moments with the rubbers. They were grippy enough. I arrived home fully drenched which i think is apparent from my first photo uploads.

                              Otherwise bike was good, good power, composure and even with an out of proportion pillion it was running just fine.

                              .
                              oh so finally the 'massaging' crown will be given to the new 180....
                              but if its more than the FI....
                              it'll loose ur bone joints..........

                              the 180 will be suffring with the same "no power" below 4000 like FI so in traffic u have to ride it in lower gears....
                              the tyres are TVS remember so dont expect them to perform nicely...

                              u can try reducing the pressure though tht results in slightly more grip...(m running 28 rear and 20 front)

                              one more thing...

                              GET RID OF THAT SAREE GUARD....

                                Frankly speaking,the R15 tyres are possibly the most amazing 110 profile tyres ever made for any Indian bikes providing ample grip even on rainy conditions,TVS tyres just don't live up to that standard .I might opt for dunlop in a considerable amount of time .
